This quilt is made from two lengths of cotton fabric with cotton wadding between. The wool wadding is held in place with exquisite complex intricate tiny stitched quilting. It is very difficult to come across needlework of this quality. The quilt is fully reversible and double bed sized. The fabric is in excellent condition and it white on one side and the palest pink on the other side. CONDITION The quilting is in excellent condition. This honourable discharge certificate was awarded toNo 300578 Private W Handley after he was injured in World War I and medically discharged from his regiment. The Durham Light Infantry. Designed by Bernard Partridge, the certificate states that"Private W Handley, Durham Light Infantry, served with honour and was disabled in the Great War. Honourably discharged on 19th February 1918" and it bears a printed signature of King George V. On the rear it bears an issue stamp of the Infantry Records Office No 1 at York dated 18.6.1918. It is in very good condition as can be seen from the photograph, very clean with some small tears and creases only around the outer margin. This toy was made by Durham Industries in Japan. Most likely in the early 1970's. This toy is made of molded plastic with a tin chassis and wind up mechanism. This features a wind up key on the side and an on/off switch on the back, so you can wind it up fully and then engage it so it drives forward. Fuzz, tone, volts, and volume. Drive and Fuzz can be used independently, or blended for more versatility. Volts controls the voltage to the pedal and creates that sag sound that Neil’s amp does. When I spoke to Alan Durham about this pedal, he said that Neil played it and gave it the thumbs up! This is an exquisitely decorated and delicate. Very old Butter/Cheese keeper cover, it is round and domed. This may be Royal Derby or Durham. Very similar pattern and Imari style, not stating facts here as I can't identify! Dark Blue has almost a flow blue look and coloring with gold trim and red poppy like flowers with accents of green and yellow. Very fine work. Impossible pattern to find. These are the closest identifications I could find, no distinct markings. I do have it pictured with a saucer NOT THE BASE DISH! It isn't a perfect match and saucer has a crack in it. I sold the other plates that I had over a year ago that matched this cover. Unfortunately. Cover just surfaced! This has been in the family forever. Cover has no stains.
