I am selling 2 items. I have always put them together but I do not think they really go together. The first is an all metal carriage. It is marked on bottom Durham Industries. Inc. made in Hong Kong. It measures 2 inches by 1 7/8 inches. It is in very good condition and yes the metal wheels work fine. The second item is a 3 inch plastic or celluloid doll? I am not quite sure if it material. I know it has age and on the back it says some Toy Co. Made in Italy. But I just cannot maje out the particular Toy Co. The doll is in wonderful condition for its age-arms. RARE Commemorative PAPERWEIGHT Durham Light Infantry Kings Crown&Bugle RARE
REDUCED PRICE: A very unusual and rare sulphide paperweight depicting the crown and hunting horn insignia of the Durham Light Infantry. I have never seen a paperweight depicting this insignia. But there are numerous military collectables(pins and badges) that commemorate the Durham Light Infantry of Great Britain. As can be seen in the photos, the silver colored sulphide crown and bugle insignia of the DLI rests on a multi-colored speckled ground, which overlays a clear glass base. This paperweight looks like some paperweights that were made in Belgium in the early 20th century, but I do not really know the origin of this piece. The paperweight is in very good condition and has some fine scratches from wear on its base. That can only be seen if one turns over the paperweight to examine the base. Diameter: ~3 inches.
