Up for auction and sale is an authentic game used Ray Durham 2001 White Sox TCB 1917 World Series Sunday Jersey the team wore that year. These jerseys are real stunners! It was purchased at the White Sox winter garage sale in 2005. It has all the proper tagging, all patch work on the jersey is authentic to a game used jersey and the wash tag is numbered"0062" It's a set 3 and shows slight wear. Stunning Guitar Research Eddie Durham 100th Anniversary Electric Archtop Guitar in excellent condition w/ OHSC Eduard"Eddie" Durham was the"Pioneer" of electric guitar. Being the world's first ever to record a jazz electric guitar solo on a Gibson ES-150 guitar in 1938. He was also credited for his work with Cab Calloway, Glenn Miller and Count Basie, among others. He was born in 1906 and this collectible guitar was made in 2006 to celebrate the man who first recorded the electric archtop guitar. This beauty features a 17" wide flamed maple body with heavy binding, large F holes, gold hardware, floating jazz mini-humbucker pickup with pickguard mounted controls on 100th Anniversary Engraved Tortoiseshell Pickguard, large ornate headstock with heavy bindings and pearl inlays, gold Grover Imperial style tuners, ... morebeautiful rosewood fretboard with MOP block inlays and Eddie Durham signature on 12th fret inlay, adjustable truss rod and adjustable rosewood bridge. The iced tea sunburst finish is absolutely stunning and the top is very nicely flamed maple. The guitar has jumbo frets and a thin, perfectly straight neck that is a joy to play. The guitar has just been dialed in with D'addario Chomes flat would strings and the action is set very low for incredibly easy playing. The floating pickup sounds great and the controls work fine with very little noise from the pots. There are a couple small dings on the headstock and some very light scratches on the body and the guitar is in overall excellent used condition. There is a small amount of tarnishing on the gold pickup and a tiny bit of wear showing on the frets. The action is about 4/64" and it is an extremely slick player with a very punchy jazz tone. This would be an excellent addition to any collection and really stands out in the crowd. Here are three razor blades for a Durham Duplex razor. The packaging is a bit tatty but the blades look unused and are very sharp. Two blades are stamped"Durham Duplex Razor Co Ltd. Patented July 1911. Sheffield England. The other blade is stamped Durham Duplex Razor Co New York. NY Pat'd USA May 28 1907. Each blade measures 2¼" x ¾" with a central slit measuring 1¼" x just under ¼" 7/32th" There is a small amount of rust on each blade which I think will easily clean off. SCARCE SILVER GILT 1ST PATTERN DURHAM MILITIA BUTTON c1759-1800* Up for auction I have this scarce flat silver gilt 1st pattern button of the Durham Militia dating to c1759-1800. The Durham Militia was founded in 1759. Becoming the 1st Durham Militia in 1853 and in 1881 making up the 3rd battalion of the Durham Light Infantry. This first style of button shows the earls coronet that relates to the 2nd and 3rd Earls of Darlington who were successively colonels of the regiment. If you feel my identification/dating of the button is incorrect feel free to contact me and I’ll amend the listing accordingly. Please judge for yourself the condition of the button from the pictures and if it’s in a condition you would be happy with. As with a lot of old buttons found detecting it’s sadly a bit worn/discoloured in places and is missing its back loop. ... moreHowever saying this it’s in better condition than a lot of old buttons I find and has the added bonus that a good amount of the original silver gilt still remains on front of the button. The front of the button shows a good amount of detail with the DM surmounted by earl’s coronet within circle all being clear. As you can see it was presented to the 37th Battalion North Durham Fusiliers Company Quartermaster(Sgt R Edmindson) as an appreciation from Major J K Lane. The case has been hallmarked on both halves in Birmingham by Deakin& Francis during 1918. It measures approximately 8.5cm by 7.0cm by about 18m thick(when closed) and on my electronic scales it weighs in at a respectable 3.14 ounces(89.1g) The case has the typical age related surface scuffs and scratches that all silver objects attract over the ... moreyears plus a few small dents. Dings, creases and depressions around the outer case due to age and use. The clasp and lid hinge are both in working order. Both of the original elastic cigarette retainers are missing but these can be replaced if you need them. The easiest way is to swap some over from a cheap modern metal case. The case would benefit from a sustained polish to restore former glory. This great looking vintage military silver cigarette/card case is offered here in an uncleaned used antique condition. Exactly as pictured and with no reserve. Antique Durham Duplex Straight Razor This razor is marked Durham Duplex. And is designed to hold a straight razor blade. It is 5 5/8" long closed. And about 8 1/2" long completely opened. It is about 1 1/8" wide at the widest when it is closed(where the razor blade holder fits into the casing) I would guess the casing is perhaps Bakelite. But am not sure of that. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: When textiles were initially brought to SC. Several progressive mills created a"textile mill village" that was built in conjunction with the mill to support their employees and their families. Other than the"company store" and free housing several community services were provided. Medical Care was provide by a medical doctor and Registered Nurses in the from of day care. These medical collectibles are from a SC MD's private collection of medical equipments and surgical tools used in serving a SC textile mill's employees and families between 1930 and 1965. Malcolm Durham RC2 1965 Chevelle Drag Car Modified with Hilborn Injection
Malcolm Durham was one of the very first African-American owner-drivers in drag racing circles during the 1960s. He was at the forefront of the super stock- funny car transition. And this'65 Chevelle commemorates his groundbreaking career. This is a great model. But the engine detail left something to be desired, so I replaced the carbs with a Hilborn injection unit, which Malcolm also switched to as his Chevelle evolved during 1965-66. I opened up the hood for clearance, covered some of the hood pins, and coated the hood with Dullcoat. Wheels were blacked out, and headlights were covered, all as seen in photos. Sold as-is. With no returns. Original RC2 box is included, with Durham's story on the back. This model is a tribute to a true hero during a tumultuous decade. Posted with

Sterling Silver Punch Bowl by Durham 10 3/4" This is a wonderfully heavy gauge sterling silver small punch or egg nog bowl in the Paul Revere bowl style made by Durham Silver Company of New York City. Durham silver products were always well made. The bowl could also be used as a fruit or centerpiece bowl as well. This bowl stands approximately five and a half inches tall and is about ten and three quarters inches wide. The bowl has no monogram nor inscriptions engraved on it and it has not been buffed. Cicra 1950s. It is stamped on the bottom reads"STERLING 90 DURHAM" and it is also stamped with the Durham company's logo. This is in excellent vintage condition. A little polishing would not hurt. ANTIQUE GEORGIAN CHIP CARVED WOOD TREEN KNITTING SHEATH STICK - TEESDALE DURHAM
A beautiful Georgian treen knitting sheath or stick dating from around 1800. This early example is from Teesdale in County Durham. With a typical flat-faced blade decorated with chip-carved triangles and with the haft carved to a square section. It has a fine old patina and is in good condition with a minor loss at the top, with associated insect hole(see photos) The loss is worn smooth with age.
