These three wheels are almost exact in style, probably made by the same foundry, but slightly different in size as well as the center bore. The largest wheel measures 4 1/4" 1/2" center bore) while the other two measure 3 7/8" one with a 1/2" bore and the other a 5/8" bore) All Three wheels measure 1 3/8" wide. They were all originally casters, and salvaged from an old mill fire in New Bedford, MA. These wheels have a wonderful patina, and do not contain any cracks, although the largest is missing a slight chip. All my items are cleaned lightly with a wire brush or steel wool. INTTRA SOUND RACK-RARE AUDIOPHILE RACK MOUNT CABINET ON CASTERS-48 3/4"H-NICE
This is a nice looking piece that according to research sold for approximately $1000 about 25 years ago. The Inttra Sound Rack is in nice overall condition. iIt measures approximately 48 3/4"H including casters. 45" of the height is available for you to mount your audio devices. The unit is about 20.5"W and 16 1/8"D. The black top of the cabinet has NOT been retouched with paint. What you see in the high resolution photos is its true condition. The wood sides have NOT been retouched either and show a few minor scuffs. But no gouges. A little Howard's would probably take care of that. The black racks do have some scratches and scuffs but are not bent or warped and are firmly in place. The scuffs will be covered by audio equipment anyway. Otherwise, the only wear to note is that the back, bottom, left corner of the rack ... morecabinet is rounded some. That is the most ideal location to never see something like that though. I highlighted that in the last photo. There are four casters on the bottom of the cabinet and each one rolls and pivots like it is supposed to. This will make a great piece for someone! This item is located about 45 minutes outside of downtown Nashville. I will allow local pickup or I will deliver it within a couple of hour radius for a reasonable price. Up for sale is this set of three vintage heavy duty cast iron industrial swiveling double wheel casters made by Albion Industries. These casters have some age and wear but overall are in good condition. Very solid. Each caster measures 6 1/2" from bolt to bolt and 5 1/2" tall- the wheels have a 4" diameter and are 1 7/8" wide. The mounting plate measures 6 1/4" by 4 1/2" This set was purchased at auction from the closing of the Historic Hershey Chocolate Factory Plant in Hershey, PA. Here is a nice little set of replacement casters. Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture of the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. These pieces date to 1743. The casters have a very classical form and are quite nicely made. The casters are sturdy. Made from thick silver. The interiors are nice and clean. Each piece is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver. The leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter H for 1743, and the maker's mark for Samuel Wood. The lids are also stamped, with the lion passant struck over the maker's mark. These pieces are in great overall condition. One has some crimping due to a repair. Around the underside of the body, which is ... morenot very noticeable unless the piece is turned upside down. Both the lids have been modified with an internal pierced sleeve, to slow the rate of pouring. This work is quite well done. There are no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs. We are pleased to present this antique bed frame. Acquired from a generations-owned family estate out of Montana. From what we were told, it has been in the same family all this time. This antique bed certainly looks the part, and while it is in overall good condition, it does have a few items worth mentioning. The paint is flaking(see photos) and there is some surface rust, though this is nothing that will affect the display quality or functionality of the bed itself. At some point in its long history. The brass top bar was lost from the footboard. This again does not affect the stability of the bed. Mid Century Modern Chrome Swivel Stool with Casters The only thing I've done to this was added 2 screws on the legs because they were missing otherwise it is all original Somewhere along the way there were 2 minor tears in the vinyl which someone put tape over it. It has held through use and cleaning but I wouldn't officially call it a repair. You can see them easily in the photos above. One was glued down and completely secure. The other one has tape over it. One can easily reupholster the seat if desired. I left it for authenticity reasons. Chrome has some worn spots throughout. I've provided lots of photos for your review. I consider this normal wear and tear with age. The casters are in good condition but there is string stuck between them. It does not affect the usage of the wheels. I think someone used this as their sewing ... morechair. I pulled lots out but it is taking too long. Perhaps you have the time. If you do nothing it doesn't affect the usage but I am mentioning it for full disclosure.
