And one central hole for locating pin Patent date appears to be cast in and not later stamped. But is very crisp Natural patina. They are marked Service Casters& Truck Co, The plates are about 6" by 6 1/2" They are about 8 1/4" from wheel to plate at the wheels themselves are 6" and 2" wide. They are at least 12-14 pounds each. One of them has a slight nick on the topside of the plate(3/4" or so) where it was grazed when getting cut off the machine. It really doesn't affect anything but wanted to make sure it is noted. There are no cracks or big bends that we can see. 4 Vintage Industrial CASTERS Factory Hardware Cart Steel Wheel Firestone Rubber
Great old antique/ vintage set of 4 metal and rubber casters. The wheels have markings and numbers. There is an"F" on all the wheels. That looks identical to the F used for Firestone products. Firestone started in 1900 makings tires and rubber, so it seems fit they could have produced these wheels. The casters measure approximately 4 3/8" tall(this is including wheel) x 1 1/8" wide metal across top of wheel x 1 7/8" long arm. They weigh approximately 1/2 pound each. This is a Set 4 Antique Furniture Rollers. These came from a Minnesota treadle cabinet. But can be used in many other antique furniture applications. They have a total working load of approx. 70 pounds. Each wheel is made of wood and comes with a steel pin and all mounting hardware. All wheels are guaranteed not to have any flat spots and will spin free. They are easy to install. Simply drill a 1-3/8" diameter hole that is 5/8" deep. Hammer a"U" nail on either side of the wheel and put a nail at each end of the rod so it doesn't slip out. I have pictured how it looks installed and the hole required. Antique Wooden Shoe Rack/Cart This auction is for an antique. Oak factory shoe rack/cart with 4 shelves and casters. The cart is antique and original except that the casters have been replaced. It rolls easily. The oak has been cleaned and two coats of oil applied. Specks of white paint and oil can be seen at places but it is clean and could be used in your kitchen to hold pots/pans or in your bedroom to hold shoes or whatever your imagination can come up with. It measures about 28" wide, 13" deep, and 4' high. The bottom shelf is a bit warped but the entire piece is strong and sturdy. It's not a heavy item and can be lifted and moved about easily. Set of 4 Antique Vintage Cast Iron& White Porcelain Furniture Casters 1-3/4" Overall length is 5" Wheels measure 1-3/4" diameter and 1/2" wide, spindle measures 3" The porcelain has some stains and the shiny finish is worn where it contacts the floor, a few old hairlines that do not seem in danger of breaking, some rust. Several have a small old chip at the hole where it attaches to the spindle. I don't know if that is really a chip or just how it was made. I have taken close up photos of both sides so please judge condition for yourself as I am no expert on these. All turn freely.
