The Winter Beach Salvage Camp | Workmansbooks The Winter Beach Salvage Camp Following the destruction of the 1715 Plate Fleet along the east coast of Florida the Spaniards constructed several camps along the fifty miles of coast where the ships sank. The primary one being at the McLarty Museum site on the northern extent of the wreckage trail. However, Douglas R. This flute was purchased in the mid-1970's by my parents for about $300(that was probably alot back then) It was used by 3 people(in my family) and was always a great instrument. A couple of years ago I took it to a music shop for pads and repair on a couple of the foot joint keys that weren't playing right. They had no idea what they were doing and basically ruined it(or so the high school band director and colleagues said) I believe someone could definitely utilize the parts from this flute but it would be great if someone could actually fix it and extend it's lifespan a little longer. 1969 Ampeg Dan Armstrong bass with original case. Excellent shape. I would like to tell you that it's all original except Im not sure about the tuning pegs. Im not a expert and I really dont know much about this bass. But I think its cool looking. I bought it more than 12 years ago from Guitar Center and it is in the exact same shape as the day I bought, I have quit a few bass that I collected through out the years. and I appreciate and take real good care of them. Up for sale is a vintage advertising box of Corticelli two ply Braided and Armstong Mending Silk. In its original box, recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia, PA. Offered were 10 spools and a needle. There are only nine spools remaining, but other silk is in the place of the 10th one. One of the spools only has a little of that color remaining. Please see the photos for details. There is a needle in the box as well. I'm not sure if it was original to the box or not. The box has some water staining on all sides, along with a few scotch tape marks. Please see the photos for details. When new, each spool would have held 4 yards. This is a great intermediate to advanced flute with open holes(training plugs included) It has great projection and tone with a sterling silver headjoint. Armstrong Tenor Sax Saxophone 3055T Rolled Tone Holes Excellent Condition
You are bidding on an excellent quality Armstrong 3055T Tenor Sax. Serial number is 7442xxV. This one has many features of the professional horns including a high F# key. Spatulated forked F, and rolled tone holes. Rolled tone holes are a feature that was popular on vintage horns and has been making a comeback with professional level modern manufacturers lately, most notably P. Mauriat. The rolled tone hole creates more surface area for the pad to seal with, reducing the liklihood of leaks and making them easier to maintain. This one is in GREAT mechanical shape. The body is straight and there are no signs of resoldered posts. There are no dents to speak of. Not even in the bow. This horn has been very well taken care of. The neck is in great shape, with only minor lacquer wear. There is no evidence of dents, repairs or pulldonwn on the neck. ... moreThere is some minor lacquer wear(maybe as much as 5% but it is very subtle(see photos) The instrument has been checked for leaks and plays easily from low Bb up into the altissimo range. It plays fantastically and has nice action. The pads are in like new shape and have a lot of mileage left in them. If maintained properly. You won't need to worry about pad replacement for years and years. Comes with a cork grease and the original lightweight molded plastic case with aluminum valence. This would make an excellent step up horn for the advancing saxophonist or discriminating professional on a budget. The instrument will be packed extremely carefully to insure minimal movement in the case. It is always a good idea to plan to have a new horn set up by a repair tech locally. Armstrong Tungsten Carbide Lathe Tool Holder
This item is a straight Armstrong tool holder. No T2-S, for a larger size lathe. It measures 8" long over all and will hold a 1/4" x 1/4" tool. It has the wrench for tightening the tool in place too. It has been reground on the front surface just to clean up some chuck marks. It is in very good condition and should give good service. WT Armstrong open hole flute Nice condition BIN $99.00
Up for auction here we have an older WT Armstrong open hole flute. I do not play the flute but I had my instrument repair guy go through it to make sure it worked alright. He replaced some corks and a few pads and gave it the ok. I also had my flute teacher at the store play it and it sounded quite nice. It has one solder repair on the underbody as you can see in the pics but does not leak. It seems to be a nice open hole flute. It has a case and I am just moving out a chunk of my inventory.
