CNC Linear Rail and Ballscrew Assembly Adept Rail
This is an Adept CNC linear rail and ballscrew assembly. Ready for your CNC project. Heavy aluminum frame allows you to mount in any orientation and build your other rails off this one. Travel is just under 40" I'll include a servo motor but you can easily adapt your stepper motor. Save yourself the trouble of trying to cob-together rails and a ballscrew and use this assembly. This unit has a top dust cover to prevent chips from entering the ballscrew area. Condition is great and ready for your machine. Had very little use and has been in storage for the past 5yrs. You are bidding on a THK SR30W linear rail. It is in working condition and removed from a piece of lab equipment that had very little use. The rail is 1000mm(39 inches) long and has two bearing blocks. It has a steel carriage plate attached to it and will be included with the item. The are some surface spots on the top of the rail. But the bearing slides are in excellent condition- see pictures. Also, there are four brand new end seals that will be included. Since this is a long item. This piece has hardened steel V groove rails molded into the extruded aluminum, insuring that both rails are perfectly in line with each other. High quality V groove bearings(search for RM2-2RS) for this rail can be found here on eBay. NO BEARINGS OR HARDWARE OF ANY KIND IS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. This piece is approximately 13.5 inches long. 5 inches wide and 1 inch thick. This is an end cut of used rail so see pictures for mounting hole positions. There are'attachment' grooves on both sides, see pics. I bought this rail used and its a little dirty. There is lite surface rust on the rails, and a few'dings' and scratches in the aluminum but, after building a 48" X 44" CNC machine, using this exact material, ... morein the exact same condition as shown in the pictures, there is absolutely no deflection caused by the slight rust. Very smooth as is but I assume that if you wanted, it can be cleaned off with something like'evaporust' or just rubbed down with wd-40. I've included a picture of the Z axis I built with this same material(my piece is 4" wide) for reference purpose only. Again, this auction is for only the one piece of Redi rail as described.
