EMCO F1 CNC mill milling machine - project needs finished
Originally manufactured by EMCO in Austria. Not Chinese. When done should be very accurate. Includes new motors, New Gecko 540 new Leeson motor controller with forward and reverse. And at least 8 BT30 tool holders for#25 collets as well as one original EMCO collet, I found a box with extra collets, but they are without the pull studs. Cabinet has been removed and powder coated machine grey and re-assembled. Lots of documentation. Lots of parts including a Windows computer keyboard and screen. Nice small EMCO vise included. This is a great machine and a nice start for that home or small prototype machine. I was going to add a 4th axis for small spur gear prototyping, but I am too old and too beat up to continue. It is setup to be used with Mach3. Complete package; Mill. Computer(Built into Machine) Xbox 360 controller. Touch Screen Monitor on swing arm. 4th Axis with 4” Independent 4 jaws. Vice. 3" opening. Tooling. Software CD. Licensed Mach3. This machine is fully functional and ready to work. As you can see in all the videos everything is working. All axis’s have been tested for accuracy. Repeatability, and backlash. X/Y/Z limit switches are all working and wired in series. Machine will go ... moreto set home positions when you reference them home in Mach3. There is a pick-up sensor installed on the spindle head for Mach3 spindle speed feedback/control. A-axis has been checked for accuracy and works great, moves fast and has very good torque in slower step speeds. X/Y/Z axis all have less than.001 backlash. Videos show each axis with.001 indicator on each axis. Videos also show rpm reader on spindle. It's hard to get an accurate reading with my tach reader. But shows spindle speeds close enough. Also shows CW rotation to CCW rotation. This is a fresh retrofit. New stepper motors. Belts. pulleys, VFD, Gecko G540, turntable, power supply and many other components. I used this machine for a few days making parts, works just like the other similar mills I have. Everything has worked perfect from the first time I started it. My machine that is similar has over 1000hrs on it, never had a problem. The emergency stop on machine is wired correctly and is functional.The door switch is not active. A-axis has been checked for accuracy and works great. Moves fast and has very good torque in slower step speeds. I had this listed on eBay before. I sold allot of these mills and I had to use it for a project(making more parts for machine conversion) I have put about 50hrs on this machine after conversion. Everything worked great and never had to make adjustments to the machine. Prior to that new stepper motors, belts. pulleys, VFD, Gecko G540, turntable, power supply and many other components were all installed when I did the conversion. EMCO F1P CNC SMALL MILL HOBBY WITH TOOL HOLDERS Mill works and is in very good mechanical condition. I have 8 tool holders to sell with it along with a vise that I was using in it. Great for prototyping and hobby milling. I have all the original documentation with the mill and some notes that I have made about all the setup parameters. You can interface this mill to a laptop at a slow 300 baud. But it works.
