Manufactured by BIJUR. The pump works. And squirts oil out of the reservoir with one pull of the handle. The original fitting is still on the oiler. But can be easily removed, or bent into any location to fit your machine. This oiler will distribute way oil to any oil delivery system. not just Bridgeport's or mills) It will work on lathes. Bridgeport Brass Co. "All Night" Brass Night Light Oil Lamp Early 1900's
Available for purchase. We have a very cool brass miniature oil lamp. This lamp was made by the Bridgeport Brass Co. and was named the"All Night" It was made for the bed side table or could be hung on the wall as a night light. They made the oil font big enough so you were able to use it all night if nessasarry. This lamp includes the burner, wick, glass chimney, reflector and a wall hanging bracket. We acquired this lamp from an estate sale in the state of Maine. It was found in a gentle men's chest that we purchased. It looks to be in good to great condition. It does have a couple of issues. The brass base/font has a couple of small miner dings but nothing major. The reflector has some loss of the silver tone finish. The burner is in working condition and the wick turns up and down easily. The glass chimney is in good condition ... morewith no chips or cracks. The brass is in good condition with spots of patina starting to form. We washed the lamp with warm soapy water but the lamp would definitely benefit from a polish. 1896 Bridgeport Brass Co Embossed Bicycle Search Light Oil Lamp Model C NR
I am very pleased to offer this estate fresh early 20th century bicycle lamp that was made by the Bridgeport Brass Co with two patent dates of 1894 and 1896. It has a very fancy embossed body and base complimented by nice green and red jewels on the side. It opens nicley and still has its wick and glass lense. It measures aprox 4 7/8" high and has a connector on the back. I do think that there was a cap on the top that is missing which said"search Light" and this is gone. Overall. Very nice original finish with very little wear and I can see no repairs or breaks in any of the piece! I usually don't come across these so I am offering at a low reserve and you tell me what its worth! Fischer Oil Groove Lathe Bridgeport Monarch Cincinnati Kerney LeBlond South
This is a used Fischer oil groove lathe. It is for cutting figure 8 oil grooves in bushings. Needless to say this is a lery old machine. When I got it.It had a single speed motor with a 3 step flat belt pulley and we replaced it with the variable speed drive(3 phase) that's on it now. It still works good and has a 3/4" boring bar and an 8"dia. steel 3 jaw chuck with bolt on top jaws. The stroke length(aprox 6" and stroke position are adjusted alittle like a shaper. There is a taper attachment. There is a relieving attachment/function that will retract the tool so it does not cut on the return stroke. The machine is bolted to a pallet and if your shipper will handle it without a surrounding crate I can ship it, BUT it will be up to the buyer to handle all arrangments and they will have to tell me what day they will pick ... moreup because there is not someone at that building every day. Description: This lovely Victorian-era hanging and(we believe) adjustable oil lamp fixture has many interesting features that you may not notice on first glance. The handle to pull down the lamp is actually a dragon. The brass font holder is embossed with scrolls and fans. The frame also is embossed with scrolling and leaves. A nicely detailed crosspiece hangs mid-way between the ceiling mount and the frame. And the pressed glass font displays a pretty jewel in diamond pattern. The burner is marked Bridgeport on the wick raiser and there is a patent date of 1875 on the underside. We don't know the maker of the ... moreframe- possibly Meriden Bronze Co. but there is a patent date at the top of Nov. 15. 1887. Judging by the length of chain in the lamp's ceiling mount, we are guessing that this is a pull-down library lamp- we simply don't know how it works as far as adjusting the height. There also is a small hook and screw in the center of the crosspiece below the ceiling mount. We're not sure what that is for. The glass chimney does not appear to be original to the lamp. Height: of frame. About 16" of chimney, 10" Width: of frame, 10 1/2" Diameter: of ceiling mount, 6 1/2" Weight(unpacked) 4 lbs. 6.6 ozs. BEFORE BIDDING.
