Thule 511-1 Velo Vise Pro - Thule Roof Mount Fork Bike Rack Carrier - Pair (2)
These bike racks were bought in Melbourne Australia while on extended stay in 2002. They were put on the rental car we had a BMW 535i. There are slight scratches here and there but over all they were used 4 times over 4 weeks in Australia and a few times here in the states. I also know they fit many other cars and both of our BMWs we had at the time a 2002 760i and a 2001 M5 they fitted the oem roof racks(I am also selling the roof racks to those cars on here as well) so they should fit most BMW rook rack systems and many other vehicles. It is almost Identical to the Thule 589 but this one is in brushed aluminum finish which matched the trim of the cars better. Includes two keys for each lock and extra long straps for mountain bikes. Nice old Columbian swivel bench vise. Made in Cleveland. Ohio. Original red-paint surface. Model# D 43 1/2 When closed. The vise is 10 1/2" long x 5 3/4" high. Jaws are 3 1/2" wide and close nice and tight. The beam is 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" Swivel base is approximately 4 1/2" diameter. With(3) 1/2" mounting holes. Handle is 6" long. Swivel lock handle is 3 3/8" long and has a slight after-market bend. Barely noticeable. The vise has no rust. But has some use-wear, some paint loss, scratches and some shallow nicks.
