It's built to last and is an impressive machine. It's completely stock as far as I can tell and nothing is loose or worn out. All of the adjustments are loose and work. It turns freely and will tighten up tight. Take a look at the base end mounting plate and frame, it's thick and heavy duty with no cracks or damage. Hand punch in good working order. Marked"patented June 3, 1919" 10 punches from 1/16th to 5/16th with matching dies in nice wooden box, with some scratches. May be a couple of dies missing, which could easily be replaced. There are also 4 dies I don't know the use for, but are obviously part of the set. The 2 necessary wrenches are included.

This is a used Pexto Model 541 B turning machine. It has a Niagra brand bench mount. The turning machine is in overall good condition. All of the gears are sound and it turns OK. The handle has been repaired as shown near the point where it attaches to the shaft. The adjustment screw/handle on top turns OK. But the return spring does not push up the head. The bench mount and handle will be removed for shipping. I do not know the age of this. It has been in our shop for 35+ years. Email me with any questions.

Here I have a very nice PEXTO TINSMITHS' ROTARY MACHINE no. 544. Serial no. 12/32 with Standard(bench stand) and coveted top name plate that is so often missing from these tools. The plate also reads Peck Stow& Wilcox Co. Southington Conn USA. The Pexto 544 rotary machine is extremely versatile and is designed for interchangeable rollers. Burring? Beading? Turning? The guide stop can be installed on either the right or left side of the machine depending on the operating procedure of the rollers installed. The hand crank can operate either the top or bottom roll again depending on the rollers installed. Pexto Chisels with Round Tops and Custom Handles
These are two PEXTO brand chisels. One is 3/4 wide. The steel portion of the blade is 7 inches long. The overall length of the 3/4 inch chisel is 10 inches. The other chisel has a 1/2 inch blade. The steel portion is about 6 7/8 inches long. The overall length of the half inch chisel is 9 13/16 inches. They are in good condition relatively free of corrosion. They have new handles that are made of Hickory similar to the Buck Chisel Style. I made the handles at different times and I forgot to match the color on them. I like chisels with long blades and short handles for general use. I haven't used these yet but they should make good working chisels. Check out my. I have listed other chisels. VINTAGE PEXTO CLAW HAMMER HEAD ~SMALL 7 OZ FINE CARPENTER CABINET MAKER OLD TOOL
Offered is a small claw hammer head bearing the"PEXTO" logo. PEXTO tools were made in Southington. Connecticut by the Peck, Stowe and Wilcox Company. This company existed from about 1870 to 1950, but the logo has been since owned by several other companies. This is a smaller claw hammer intended for closer and finer work. It weighs just 7.3 ounces and is about 3-1/2 inches on overall length. The flat hammer face is about 3/4 inch across. This hammer shows few signs of much use. There is minor tarnish and light scratching. Both eyes are clean. There is a tiny nick on the inside of one claw. The logo strike is crisp and deep. It is clean. Dry and waxed. This is a great user or collector grade tool. I've posted lots of pictures so you can look it over. Winner pays for USPS First Class or Priority in the USA. Antique old vintage door hardware Pexto Mortise Lock with skeleton Key L24
Mortise lock has a face plate of 7/8' wide x 5 1/4' tall. 3 1/4' deep. Comes with one tested and functional skeleton key. I test the key multiple times on both sides of the lock to insure fit and function. The strike bolt can be reversed for doors that swing the other way. Made by Pexto circa 1920s, possibly ealier.
