Then 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch, and 5 inch. There is a cardboard box marked inside micrometer calipers, no. 124. There is a wooden box set of measuring tools as pictures. There is also one instruction sheet. One small spot in the wooden box is empty so the set looks complete except for that piece. There are several pieces here and you will get what it shown. Very Unique~~~Starrett Inside Micrometer ~~~
Starrett Inside Micrometer This is an unique Starrett inside micrometer. Some of the things that I find make it unusual are that it has a range of 8 to 14 inches with just one extension rod. The extension rod has numbers 8 thru 13 on it and then the micrometer reading on the other end gives the last inch. Notice the little index window in which you would align the appropriate number on the extension rod. All the other inside micrometers I have seen use a set of rods of varying lengths with a range of 1 inch per rod. The Starrett name and address is engraved but there is no tool number engraved anywhere on the tool. Which is another oddity for a Starrett tool of this nature. The tool works smoothly and is in nice condition for its age, with the slight exception of a small area of surface discoloration. See condition comments and photos for ... moremore description. Mitutoyo 2-8" Inside Micrometer Set No. 141-108
Here is a Mitutoyo No.141-108 2 to 8-inch inside micrometer set I bought to measure engine cylinder bores. The micrometer range is 0-500-inch in 0.001-inch increments. I only used this set for the range of 4 to 5-inches so most of the tool extensions have never been unpacked. A 4-inch long handle(rod with threaded end) is supplied so you can measure something down a hole. Tube, whatever. A pair of pics show the tool set up for 4 to 4.5-inch measurements then, with the supplied 1/2-inch sleeve in place, for 4.5 to 5-inch measurements. Three adjustment wrenches are included, still in the plastic bag as purchased. I added the green bubble pack as shown to replace the foam packing that was glued to the inside lid of the box.

This is a lot of three extremely rare inside micrometer tools. Two of these tools are marked one lufkin and the other is Brand Tool company. All three are in great working condition and will make a great add to any collection or to your toolbox as well. The largest of the three the lufkin will draw down to about 2 and 1/8 inches and extend out to about 3 and 1/8 inches. the middle size one will draw down to about 2 3/8 inches and will extend out to about 2 and 7/8 which is the no name one. and the small on by the brand tool company will draw down to about 1 1/2 inches andextend out to about 2 inches.
