1981 Boy 15s Plastic Injection Molding Machine with 5x8 MUD Frame
This auction is for 1 used Boy 15S Plastic Injection Molding Machine with 5x8 Master Unit Die Base(MUD) in working condition. We have only cycled this machine a few times and everything seemed to work but it does have a few hydraulic leaks. 1 there's a leak on one of the carriage cylinders and there is a leak near the motor. See pictures. The leak at the carriage cylinder will have to be fixed before it can be used. We will include the seals for the carriage cylinder but we haven't determined where the leak is around the motor. We were told that it is a 1 ounce machine and that it has a 24 ton intensifier cylinder option installed. Comes complete with manual. No hopper is included with the machine. Battenfeld BA500 CD Injection Molding Machine - Parts Machine - Complete
I bought this machine and some other machines about 5 years ago which was being used in a factory in Florida. It had a robot on it which I removed. The machine has been in storage since then and much of the exposed carbon steel has surface rust. This a machine I have held on to for spare parts but I have two other spare parts machines and I have never needed to remove any parts form this one so it is complete with all the circuit boards, display, screw, hydraulic pump and controls and the injector unit. If you run these machines you know the replacements parts from Battenfeld cost a mint, you can buy this whole machine for the price of one board. I have a fork truck and I can load it on to a flatbed.
