Dividing head, 8", with tailstock, Enco Mdl 74000 made in Taiwan
Enco 8" dividing head with tailstock. Includes one plate with 15.16,17,18,19 and 20 holes. Nose is threaded 1.20 x 8 tpi with an internal taper to take brown and sharp#7 collets(one1/2" diameter collet is included) a blackplate that has ten holes drilled in it so 10 divisions can be indexed directly in one 360 degree turn is included. The holes are a loose fit on the index pin so need to be redrilled if high accuracy is needed. Unit shows a lot of use but is still serviceable from what I can determine. Two are marked Bridgeport. The other is not marked with a maker. The dividing head is in good used condition. It was purchased from a manufacturing business that was liquidated due to the owners death. The owner of this facility was a severe clean freak and kept his tools and equipment in excellent condition. This head is no exception. Ready to be put to work! Up for Auction a Hardinge tail stock- it is marked Hardinge Brothers. Cast into it is"T800" and it appears to be about a 4" center height(8" swing) The item appears to be in good shape. The movement is a little tight, probably from sitting a long time; little oil and this should be as good as condition as would be out there. I also have a T-slotted sub base marked T229 in another auction that this fits on. Could be used for a dividing head, rotary table, super spacer, as a bench center, on a grinder or other uses.

I believe this is a Hardinge. But it is not marked at all excepting"T229" as pictured. I have a Hardinge tailstock in a separate auction and that fits on this base. This base is 24" long and weighs about 30 lbs. It looks like a table off a tool and cutter grinder but is probably a base for bench centers or perhaps designed to be just a universal base for fixturing on a mill or any other machine; pretty simple. Ellis Dividing Head With 4" Buck Chuck and 3 Extra Plates
Great little Ellis Dividing head! Has been completely disassembled. Cleaned and lubricated. No. 9 B&S inside taper has no nicks or rust. As you can see by the pictures the clamping slots have been cleaned up. The three tapped holes that allow the body to tilt have been Heli-coiled, and the internal surfaces are super clean. The four inch Buck chuck has a new mounting plate. It is missing one plug that allows it to be centered, but one can be turned from brass to match the others. Up for grabs is a Cincinnati 12” Universal Dividing Head with Steady Rest? and Tailstock. Plus extras. This well used but not recently Dividing Head has been in storage for quite a while as the milling machine that it went with we no longer have. All features appear to work as they should but we can not guarantee accuracy as we have no machines to test on. Also included is the instruction manual that is soiled as you would expect for something handled by machinists. You will also get the Tail stock that moves as it should and I believe a center or steady rest. Also included is a holder with center and mounting bolt and part driver and 1 extra tool holder without mounting bolt. Also included is the drive gear that would mate with our machine to drive unit. Spiral Cutting Fixture with Dividing Head for Milling Machine
Spiral cutting fixture with dividing-indexing head for a milling machine. This fixture. Along with a tailstock(not included) holds and moves a cylindrical workpiece so that a spiral(for example, helical gear teeth) can be cut. The tool's mechanism slides within its base and the amount of spiral is determined by the angle setting and by the motion of the gears inside. The overall length of the fixture is 19 1/2" and it has a swing of about 7" diameter. The fixture mechanism slides back and forth about 7" along dovetails in its base, so a spiral about 7" long can be cut. The underside of the base has a key that fits in a 1/2" wide table slot. The two-sided, reversible circular indexing plate has 8 sets of holes- 4 sets on each side. One side has sets of 10, 12, 14, and 16 holes. The other side has sets of 11, 13, ... more15, and 18 holes. The ways, dovetails, and gib on this fixture are in excellent condition. Likewise, the gears inside the box are in excellent condition. This is a precision-made machining fixture. There are no maker's marks on this fixture. I suspect there are some missing pieces; those pieces are probably related to holding the fixture to the mill table and other simple parts that can probably be easily fabricated. The important parts of the spiral and sliding mechanisms are all intact and included. There are no other parts beyond what is shown in the photos that are included in this auction. The shipping weight of this fixture will be about 57 pounds, so UPS ground or freight might be best. Local pickup is also OK. Please ask any questions you may have.
