Clausing Lathe Carriage Turret Stop 4 Position
This is A Clausing 4-Position carriage stop. I am not sure what lathe it fits- I believe it is for a 14' lathe because I have a 12" Clausing lathe and it is slightly too big for it. The width of the"V" at the bottom is 7/8" Actually. If you ground off a bit of the bottom of the"V" leg that is on the inboard side of the lathe, it would fit the 12" as well. It's made in England by Taylor and has a very deep jaw mouth, good for holding longer stock that won't fit into the bore. The scroll is kind of funnel shaped so, as the jaws open, they extend out. Anyway, there are no reverse jaws with it but it does have a key.

Metal Lathe Compound Rest Cross Slide South Bend Clausing Craftsman
For sale is a used metal lathe compound rest cross slide. I don't know what brand or size lathe it came off. I got it in a lot of stuff. It was covered in surface rust, I soaked it in evaporust, so now there is no rust, it works good. But you can see the evidence of rust left the numbers hard to read and the knob a bit rough. I would expect this would work more for a custom project than trying to figure out what model and size it came off. Otherwise a part, please verify the measurements in the photos with your lathe before you buy this so we can avoid any hassle.

You are bidding on a nice old super heavy duty boring bar holder. The bore is 1.5" I am not sure what it was made for. It is stamped 12" P&W. Obviously you could modify this to fit any lathe. It measures 1-3/4" from the mounting surface to the center of the bore. The key is 1.25" and the clamping bar is 1.75" wide x.35" thick. The bore is in great shape. Original, CLAUSING, ATLAS WALL CHART FOR METAL LATHE
This is a wall chart for Clausing back-geared screw-cutting lathe 12 in. 35" WIDE X 23 1/2" HIGH. It was printed by Clausing. Atlas printing Co, that is the statement at the bottom of the poster. I think Sears and Roebuck lathes are the same. This is not a reproduction. It is the real thing. It states the cost of 25 cents and no zip code, that tells you something. It shows the function and care of lathe parts. It has a couple of tears(see pictures and one hole) It has never been folded which is remarkable. It is has some dirt stains on it. Clausing 6300 Lathe, 12" x 33", 2-speed Motor
Clausing 6300 series geared head machine lathe in good condition. Made by Atlas Clausing of Kalamazoo. Michigan. Actual model of lathe is 6319. 12-3/4" swing, 33-1/2" between centers, 59" bed length, 68-1/2" overall length. 2-speed, 1-1/2 HP, 3-phase 220 volt motor. Quick-change gear box for left and right hand threads from 4 to 224 threads per inch. With the 2-speed motor. Step pulleys, back gear, and a variable frequency drive(not included in auction) this lathe can have a very wide and very versatile range of spindle speeds. The lathe originally used 5-step pulleys giving a total of 18 speeds specified as 15 to 1300 rpm(10 speeds direct drive, 8 speeds on back gear) The pulleys on this lathe were changed at some point to 4-step pulleys, giving 16 speeds of approximately 20 to 1730 rpm. However, by moving the countershaft ... morepulley over slightly, there are an additional 12 speeds ranging from 30 to 1100 rpm. Two new drive belts are included to accommodate this speed range change. I have the lathe running off of a variable frequency drive inverter(phase converter) the motor runs very nicely at very low frequency(speed) down to a spindle speed of around 5 rpm on the lowest belt/pulley combination and back gear. Lathe is equipped with an Atlas 7-1/2" 3-jaw universal chuck. With a spare set of reversed jaws for holding larger work pieces. 4-position turret type tool post for 1/2" bits. New tailstock chuck. Rotary switch for 2 speeds in forward, and 2 speeds in reverse. Ways have an acceptable amount of wear for a lathe of this age- about 0.005 to 0.008" near the headstock. Backlash on cross slide and compound slide are not excessive. Gibs are in very good condition. With smooth movement of the slides. A good lathe for hobby work, but probably not precise enough for making space shuttle fuel system parts or brain surgery apparatus. The lathe is available for your inspection.
