Carriage Handwheel just removed from a Clausing Mark II Lathe Only includes what is pictured. We were hired by a local school district to sell this for them. It was recently removed from a lathe. It has many scratches. Nicks and wear from use. Measures about 6 inches across and the pin sticks up about 2 1/4 inches. The center hole is1/2 of an inch across with a small grooves that are about 1/8 of an inch across and about 1/16 of an inch deep. We tried to take pictures of the important features. Needs some good way oil on it. Removable Jaws are@ 3" wide. Has compound indicator for vise rotation. Has indications on base for rotational axis reference. Hand has adjustable wheel zero-set(needs to be adjusted) Everything is"nice-n-tight" Will be shipped with the hand wheel removed. Google search found another like this. If you have people ask it will not fit on 4800. 6300, 5300, 5400 or 5500 lathes, the cross slide compounds on the 4900 and 5900's have a larger circular bolt pattern Here is some more info from another Ebay member: No problem my grandfather was the eastern sales manager for Atlas/Clausing from 1959 to 1981 so it was a easily recognisable part. From the picture with the tape showing the height that attachment is from a 5900 series lathe but will work on the 4900's as well because it's a couple inches smaller. The 5900 was a very popular toolroom lathe and still very much so with the home shop guys. The taper attachment and this milling attachment are very sought after" NOTE: UPS Only on this item.
