What you will receive is a fully tested and adjusted RFG RB 10Mhz rubidium frequency standard with a power cord. All you have to do is plug the unit into 100-240VAC. Wait a few minutes and you’re ready to use the highly stable and accurate 10Mhz output to connect to your counter, synthesizer, etc. to replace the so-so internal oscillator that are in most commercial units. These modified Lucent(AT&T) RFG rubidium frequency standards have 2 outputs of 10Mhz. The first is a buffered square wave that is connected to both an SMA connector marked“TP” and a BNC connector marked“J1” that are wired in parallel and this output must be terminated with 50Ω to preserve the waveform and prevent ringing. The second output is a clean sine wave connected to two SMA connectors marked“J2” and“OUT” and to a BNC connector marked“J4” All wired in parallel, ... moreand this output can drive at least 2 volts peak into a 50Ω load. The attached A.C. power supply outputs 24VDC regulated at 2A. After the unit reaches operating temperature the current drawn drops to about 0.5A. Nice tested and calibrated SRS PRS10 rubidium frequency standard module. Requires +24VDC at 2.2 Amps initially and.6 Amp once warmed up. Application of an external 1PPS(like from a GPS receiver) will cause the PRS10 to align its 1PPS output to match and also lock its frequency to the 1PPS input signal. Includes the matching power plug and accessory breakout connector board that has BNC connectors for the 1PPS in. 1PPS out, and 10Mhz out as well as LEDs for monitor. The unit has been tested with the RbMon monitoring software and shows no faults. Also I set the frequency to +5X10-11 and then connected a GPS 1PPS.
