SATURATED DIODE WHITE NOISE SOURCE 50 Ohm AMP- RX Noise Factor Measurement
You are bidding to buy a Saturated Diode Noise source with a 50 Ohm BNC Output. Uses GEC thermionic device Marked A2087 7143. Adjustable output using very nice 10K multiturn control and large indication meter. Sold as suitable for repiar or parts as I cannot see much of an output on my Oscilloscope. The meter does move and adjusts. Its seems quite complex for what it does. and is probably repairable. However it also has some nice components in addition to the Steel case and I think it would be a good source of spares. 1. The Case 18 by 32 by 17cm. 2 HT Mains transformer 125- 0-125V( 0-250V) and 6.3V 1.2A. 3 Nice multiturn pot 10K. 4. The soft back catalog is in good shape. Some slight creases. Scratches, and some wear. Some blothes and stains. On the back, there are two lines that go across the entire cover. But really doesn't detract much. The pages inside are really in good shape and are in tact. 282 pages. Measures 6 X 9. Will work with you for reasonable overseas shipping.
