The original instruction manual is included. It's in excellent cosmetic condition with only very light general wear. The cord and plug are in safe operating condition. All of the knobs and the dials appears to move as they should and the unit has no visible damages. The unit measures 11 1/4 in. X 5 1/2 in. and stands about 8 1/2 in. tall including the handle. For sale here is a HICKOK Model 532 vacuum tube tester. The unit is working as you can see by the first picture im testing a known good 6L6. The unit does seem to be complete though unit will need a good cleaning as most tube testers do. I sprayed the insides down with deoxit to help with connectivity and electrical lubricant to help the switches turn smoothly. As with all tube testers it MUST be assumed that the unit needs a calibration. As you can see it is working powering on(pilot lamp needs replaced) etc. The roll chart is free and moving as well as the switches and knobs including a free moving meter. SquareTrade © AP6.0 1960 vintage U-Test-Em model 1901 stationary tube tester. 58 1/2" tall x 21" wide x 20" front to back. Sheet metal cabinet has locking door on the bottom with slide out tray shelves. There are 5 tray slots but only 2 trays. Cabinet is in fair cosmetic condition but equipment appears to be good working. Glass insert on the cabinet base door is cracked. Glass panel with advertising is missing from the overhead light section. Some minor surface rust and wear and on the cabinet. For testing Efficiency. Plug the tube into the correct socket and allow 30 seconds to warm up. Meter should read at the chart indicated value or higher. I tested several tubes and the values appear reasonable. I have a brand new 6U7 tube which shows a value of 50 on the cabinet chart and the meter tests at 55. I have a used 6K7 ... morewhich should test at 50 but only registers 40. Shorts or gas leaks should light up on the panel but none of the tubes I tested appear to be faulty in that respect. There is a toggle power switch mounted on the panel, however, the only way to turn off the overhead light is to unplug the unit. Pretty neat and usable unit. For local pick up here in York, PA 17406. Flipped the switch and the green light came on and the D-C volts dial moved. No further testing was done. Someone(not me) broke the"channel select" knob on the front. It is dangling inside and still operates if you have a small blade screwdriver. But it would probably be best to replace it if you intend to operate this regularly. I removed the"Crystal Oscillator Assembly" panel and there is some sort of board in there. There are six adjustment screws along the front(probably related to the 6 channels?
