VINTAGE HP FREQUENCY COUNTER MODEL 5233L
Up for Sale is a Vintage 1970's HP(Hewlett Packard) Model 5233L Frequency Counter. I was able to measure the frequency of a power transformer at 60 Hz. No other testing was performed. I will sell this Frequency Counter for Parts or Repair. But based on this simple test we performed, I believe it to be functional as a frequency counter. The Nixie tubes are probably worth the starting price not to count the various PC Boards inside. The Cooling Fan is operational as well. The only flaw I noticed, is that someone has soldered the power cord wires to the push on power connector. Please review Photos. The next to last photo was of the counter reading a low voltage 60 Hz AC source. The last photo is with the top cover removed.
