Sencore TC-136 Mighty Mite tube tester manuals instructions works tested
Here is a vintage Sencore TC-136 Mighty Mite Tube tester. as you can see from the pics I have tested with the only tube I have. Fortunately is was a good tube and worked with the unit to show it will work. It comes complete with a good power cord. Corded tester, all original knobs, cover and handle. Also included are 3 Mighty Mite Set up books. Form nos. 957, 674 and 514. All are in good condition, but there is some left over adhesive from double stick tape used many years ago. The residue is also on the inside of the units' cover as you can also see in the pics. The Sencore Service Manual is also included. Form#266. The case has some scrapes and scuffs. But the surface of the tester is in very good condition. The gauge front is not damaged and it looks to have never been opened. The metal does need some cleaning as it does look aged. ... moreOddly. When I run my hand over the gauge, the needle moves without being plugged in! Not sure if that is common or not. I just thought it should be noted. Paypal is due 2 days from auction end.

This Tester belonged to my father who at one time worked for Radio Marine after WWII and Loral Electronics during the late 50's& 60's. Unknown if it is operational. It appears to be in good condition. But I do not know how to work it so I could not test it. The solid wood case is weathered on the exterior, and handle also very weathered. Calibrated EICO 667 Tube Tester Must See 6550 EL34 6L6 7868
This is a model 667 tube tester made by EICO. Tester was just calibrated per the manual. It measures Dynamic Conductance on tubes. I tested a few tubes and it works. Notice the 7868. 6550, EL34 and 6L6G tubes under a test. This front panel is very clean and appears to have seen little use. This will test octal loctal, 7, 9, 10 miniature, 5, 7 pin nuvistors, 9, 12 pin compactron and pilot lamps. I did not try to test any transistors on this. Front panel looks great. Here we have a used B&K model 607 solid state tube tester. The case is in nice condition except for what looks like dirt and paint in some spots. I wiped it down. But a good cleaning should make it almost new looking. The inside is very clean, let the pictures be your guide to its condition. Even though one picture shows the unit in use, it is being sold for parts and not working. Tube not included. It should be serviced by a competent technician before you use it. He used to purchase government auctions of electronic and other test equipment and was an electronics trainer and engineer himself. This has been in storage and unused for quite a while. I wish I could report that this thing is working 100% but I can't. The power light comes on and the line voltage meter registers. The bias voltage can be adjusted as well as the line voltage but I cannot get it to test a tube. The tubes under test do not light up and they have tested good on the BK tester that I can operate and do have some limited experience with. Must See TV-2C/U Tube Tester TV-2 300B KT88 6L6 EL34
This is a very nice Military TV-2C/U tube tester made by Taffet Electronics. The TV-2C/U is the more modern of the TV-2 series and is built like a tank. Switches are tight. Snap into place, and are not worn out. It was purchased direct from the Military. Serial number is 89. I tested this set and it is working as seen from the photos. Notice the 6L6G, KT88, and 6L6 reference tube under a test. All meters are working and are not sticking. The bias, plate, screen, filament, etc, can be adjusted. The 6L6 reference was purchased from Daniel Nelson and tested 42 or 5250 uMohs. Notice the 6L6 reference tube tested 86% This is about 5160 uMohs(6000 x.86) This tester includes spare fuses, a spare lamp, a spare 83 tube, and a spare 6X4W tube. The roll chart works very well. The TV-2C/U uses 2 transformers. One, for the filaments, and one for the plate, ... morescreen, etc. Actually this tester is not hard to use, once you get familiar with all the settings and meters. This will test 4, 5, 6, 7 prong, 7 pin, 9 pin, octal, loctal, acorn, sub min 7, sub min 8, sub min 8 long pin, and transmitting 7 pin tubes. I can email pdf files of the manual and tube settings if desired to the winning bidder. I can also email an excel spreadsheet with over 2400 tube settings. This will test the 300B, KT88 tubes, and thousands more. All filter capacitors have been replaced with new stock. I never drill holes and like to keep the chassis looking original. Tester may need some more checking out, adjusting, etc, due to age. Original setting book is included. I have lots of data on the TV-2 so I can email the winning bidder. For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this 1960s vintage tester from Mercury Electronics Corps from Minneola New York. In incorporates a tube tester. Volt Ohmeter, and a CRT tester. It comes with a couple of accessory pieces as you see. They are a vibrator test adapter model DA-34 and the other is a color gun. In is in a self contained case and it includes a tube chart but no instruction book. Condition is used but with some wear. The accessory pieces have some plastic breakage but it doesn't interfere with function. Without instructions we are unsure how to use the accessories. The unit powers up and it appears to be working when we tested a 6SK7 tube. I see a few missing screws to the front plate and one of the switches moves reluctantly. Vintage HICKOK Model 540 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Radio Amp Stereo
Here's an interesting early HICKOK tube tester model 540. It tests early 4 pin tubes through those of the octal era. I have not done exhaustive testing nor did I evaluate all test settings but the instrument did power on and I was able to test a few tubes. Pictured is a 6F6 under test. The resulting meter deflection appears reasonable but the tube tester has not been recently calibrated. The test meter is contained within a carrying case. The handle is tattered but functional and the tolex-like covering is worn in spots but overall not bad. It measures 14 1/2" x 15 3/4" x 7" not including the handle. This tester is being offered AS IS. FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION.

Nice Jackson 637 tube tester. VOM, noise test and tube chart! Jackson Model 637. This is a very well made tester that incorporates an analog VOM into it's circuit. You can measure voltage. Resistance, and current with a Jackson 637. Banana jacks are provided to connect VOM test leads. And high-impedance headphones to listen in on the tube as it is being tested. Setup procedure is quite similar to a Hickok/Stark tube tester. There are two rows of 11 push buttons on the panel; the top row are to select functions and ranges for the VOM circuit. And the bottom row helps test for shorts, leakage, and the'dynamic' conductance of triodes/tetrodes/pentodes. The headphones are not supplied but easy to find on EBay or else where. There was a handwritten note on the box it was stored in stating that it needs repair and"low sens" I do not know if anything else is wrong with it. Selling"as is" The wood box has no cover. The metal front shows wear and has scratches and the sides of the box show some wear. The knobs look nice but the upper left knob looks different from the others. It is being sold as is for parts or repair. I powered it up slowly with a variac transformer and no smoke or hot smell was present. So I proceeded to test a known tube with it. When I attempted to test the tube. The tester began to smell hot so I stopped at that point and shut it off. It never started smoking or anything like that and the variac transformer that I used has a low amp fuse in it and it did not blow the fuse. And it did not damage the tube. I tested the tube after words on one of my Hickok testers and it was fine. I also noticed that there is some minor oxidation. Not bad but I wanted to point that out. This vintage Superior Instruments Model TV-11 Tube Tester is from the estate of a radio/ television repair man of the 1950's. A unique rare find due to the ORIGINAL operating manuals which include(see photos) Operating Instructions Booklet and Chart* Howard Sams Tube Substitution Handbook Vol. 8* Metronix Tube Substitution Guide Unit powers up and hums. All dials. Levers, and roll chart move. Wooden box shows signs of use wear and has scuff marks in wood with rust on the front latch. As with any piece of vintage equipment, it should be gone over by a professional for accuracy. Accordingly, item is being sold as is due to its vintage age. Exceptional Heathkit IT-21 Transconductance Tube Tester from 1962 No Reserve
Here for your consideration is an Exceptional Heathkit IT-21 Transconductance Tube Tester that looks like someone just finished building it in 1964. This is one of the best and most versatile tube testers ever made. This 13” x 10” x 6” tester has 12 sockets and covers a very wide range of tubes from the earliest 4 pin tubes right through sweep tubes and compactrons. Very few testers do this whole range. The IT-21 was offered by Heathkit from 1962 to 1964 and sold for $44.95 as a kit in my 1964 Heathkit catalog. This tester comes with the Heathkit Assembly Manual. Its internal roll chart, and Supplemental Test Data Sheet for use with the Heathkit IT-21 Tube Tester. I took this to my Tech friend Tom, and he replaced the line cord and the electrolytic capacitor. Out of a SCRANTON PENNSYLVANIA ESTATE is this VINTAGE EICO Model 625 VACUUM TUBE TESTER(measuring 12.5" x 10" x 4" Serial number 26953) It did light up when I plugged it in[SEE THIRD PHOTO] I don't know if it still tests tubes accurately as I have no knowledge of this electronic area. LISTED CHEAPLY TO MOVE TO THE ELECTRONICALLY INCLINED PERSON OR EICO COLLECTOR. Weighs close to 13 lbs. so it can be picked up locally in the SCRANTON PENNSYLVANIA AREA to save shipping costs.
