I get the cutest things from Germany! This is a kissing bunny rabbit couple sitting on bench figure. They are in very good condition with very minor paint crazing/chipping/loss& a little bit of excess glue noted in places. Beautiful pastel coloring and details! It does look like the head of the male has been glued back on at some point(crack in paint finish noted) before I got it. He also has a natural wood fissure on the underside of one of his pant legs. This is a just a nice sample of German folk art. It is older and definately not perfect! Super cute! Not labelled or marked, but I purchased it from a seller in Germany last year, and I was told it was made in Germany. They would be great displayed at Easter or year round! It is heavily padded both the seat and the back in a thick naugahyde type of material. Nice to have a back to lean against! This chair measures 28½' high in the back. The seat is 18' high and is 15½' X 15½' The covering has no tears or holes although it does have a few small scrapes and spots. Overall though. It is in very good solid condition. Antique Deacon's Bench Late 1700-early1800's- Solid Oak- 5 feet long
This beautiful solid oak hand-carved bench is a rare find. It measures 60 in. long. 43 in. high and 19 in. wide. The seat lifts up for storage. I inheirited it from my mother who received it from her mother. We believe it came from Germany or France but have not been able to find much information on it and certainly nothing like it. The bench is much darker than it looks in the pictures. Almost black with age. It is in near original condition with the exception of a small piece of wood on the seat which had to be repaired due to wear. It has only been wiped down with Murphy's Oil Soap to remove dust. You are bidding on one incomplete Sargent 710 Auto-Set wood bench plane as pictured. It is marked"SARGENT V-B-M" for Very Best Made) behind where the front knob would be. And"710" behind the frog. All I have is what is shown. Condition of the body is fair to good. EXCEPT that the boss for the front knob is partially broken off as shown in the 4th and 5th pictures. The bottom has lots of rust mostly along the left side behind the throat, and I would expect to find some modest pitting under the rust. Condition of the other parts is good, except for the top of the rear handle which is broken off, and of course everything needs a good cleaning. There are no cracks or chips or chunks missing from any of the castings other than the issue with the front knob boss. And everything operates properly. Vintage Clamp On Industrial Work Bench Pivoted Lamp or Light! Works Great!
Up for auction is a really neat industrial workbench light or lamp. This light measures about 33" long when the pivots are straightened. It has two pivotal areas that can be used to move the light into position. The pivotal points work well and move easily. The lamp works and the bulb gets VERY HOT in a VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. This is not a light for a child to handle. It is an old industrial light that does not meet the standards of today's lighting. The bottom of the light arm has a hole where it could be bolted to a desk or table. There may be another part to the end of the light arm. But this is all I have. The lamp turns on and off very easily and works fine. The inside of the lamp has some rusting, some staining, as well as red, blue and beige paint trips around the inside edges of it. There are a few areas where the original ... morepaint is missing and there is rust showing through. There is no pitting to the lamp and the rust on the surface of the inside of the lamp, only. It is time to let go of our family's organ. Purchased new in the late seventies( I still have the sales slip in a box somewhere. It is a Hammond. Model 5124. Unfortunately. It does not work perfectly anymore: The lower manual sometimes mutes itself and sometimes it is very. Very soft. F# does not work. None of them. The fun parts still work. Though, like adding percussion, autochord, and adjusting the tempo. The bench is still sturdy. Though there is some marking in one corner(see the last picture) Though it is hard to see it go. Especially for my dad, I hope that someone can get good use out of it, either by repairing it or using it to repair others. I took the back off so you could get an idea of the inner workings.
