This is an old Antique Cast Iron Home Water Pump from DAVEY PUMP in Rockford Illinois. I found this in a shed at a 125 year old farmhouse. The granddaughter told me it was in their kitchen until they got city water and electricity in the 1940s. It was covered in crud so I gently cleaned off most of the grime. The original Red paint is still in great shape with no signs of corrosion. It just needs some more gentle cleaning to preserve the painted finish. The letter Y on the front side and F on the back side in missing. Was not on the pattern when cast. Kind of a rare one to get out of the foundry with casting mistakes. Handle moves up and down ok. This is a good working condition old pump. Base is good hard to find. No cracks, welds or repairs. Pump has been repainted. It has a hook for the water conductor to hang on the spout. It is 46 inches tall and has a 30 inch handle. This pump will make a great yard art decoration or will pump water with the addition of a pump cylinder more pipe and sucker rod. For Sale is a"Used" Hoshizaki OEM Ice Machine Water Pump# PA0613 This pump was installed and used for less than 90 days when we then retired the machine out of service. The pump is in excellent condition. The only flaw is on the bottom plate where you will notice the black paint is starting to bubble up. For those that are not familiar, the pump is located in an area of the machine where it's exposed to constant moisture/condensation and the paint on the pump starts to peal shortly after installation. Features concentric rings on the base and vertical rings on the center portion. Total height is 50" Diameter of the base is 9" The handle in full extension is 22" long. The spout is 8" long. Green appears to be the original paint. On the handle some of the green paint has worn off revealing a coral-rust colored primer. Some areas of scattered surface rust present on the pump. We have not pumped water with this pump or had it in actual use, but all the parts seem to be there. No cracks. Pre-owned. The pump will be disassembled for safe packaging.
