This is a vacuum cassette loadlock with an integral linear pass-through transfer arm. In use. This system would have a process chamber attached to the left side(facing the door) of the cassette loadlock, with a large gate valve separating. A cassette of workpieces is manually loaded through the door, the chamber is pumped down to vacuum, and the linear robot is used to reach into the cassette, lift a workpiece, then place it in the process chamber(ion mill, sputter, analysis, etc. It could work equally well for transferring wafers or pucks, or any flat workpiece. The linear robot is driven by an LM Guide Actuator worm gear coupled magnetically through the chamber wall. The cassette elevator is a Brooks Automation model 001-9010-09. 6' Vacuum Chamber Tunnel Transport multi-port with 12" Gate Valve and remote manipulator. 20 CATEGORIES for other items of interest. Currently over store items listed. 1276 This is a stainless steel and aluminum partial vacuum chamber assembly designed to transport something from one end to the other such as would be used in a vacuum tunnel process. At least that is our current assessment of this apparatus. There is a full cross-section vacuum port door at the right end(image above) There is a rectangular port(just under 12 by 8" and door immediately to the left of that. Facing the viewer in the image above. There is a rectangular viewing port above that. In the center is an air operated vacuum gate valve-the tallest part of the assembly. To the left of the gate valve is another smaller viewing port facing the viewer. Next is ... morea wedge joint assembly and to the left of that is a ring type vacuum flange where this whole assembly would mate up to some other vacuum chamber. At the extreme left is part of the transport apparatus that would extend into the other vacuum chamber. the yellow strap in these images is just to make sure the unit stays upright while being transported on a pallet) These images focus on the additional motion apparatus attached to the basic transport chain. This is the section that would be sitting in some additional vacuum chamber. The parts look like they are aluminum and show some light surface oxidation. There is something that appears to be a probe holder(pointing away from the body of this apparatus) attached to the mechanism that appears to ride on the transport chain. There are three drive shafts with universal joints that appear to adjust the position of the probe-presumably driven by motors further back in the assembly. These images show the transport area to the right of the gate valve. The chamber cross section is a rectangle about 6.5 inches wide and 9 tall. Its about 2' long. We assume the mechanism shown in the other end can move into this area when the gate valve

Including 3 circular ports about 17" in diameter. The rotary platform can be seen inside the lower left circular port. Normal orientation would be 90 degrees from the way it is shown-we just don't know which direction. The overall dimensions of the main chamber are about 48" across the bottom. 36" tall and 20" front to back as shown above. Raw weight is something over 400 pounds. The air cylinders that operate the load-locks can be seen to the lover left of the image below. There is about a 17 slot port to the lower right. The ring mechanism rotates. The image below is what we believe is the drive motor/gear assembly that rotates ... moreit. The components inside it also move driven by Pittman gear motors. The two Pittman gear motors that drive the 2 small semicircular units can be seen in these images. The motors are GM9413-4 12/24 volts DC 218.4 to 1 ratio. The 18 inch slotted port more or less lines up with the rotating platform inside and has an 0-ringed matching plate as shown above. The air cylinders shown above operate the load-lock chambers shown below. Addtional external mechanism associated with the load-locks is on the underside as shown below. We assume normal orientation is rotated 90 degrees form the way the unit is currently positioned. Again. The 3 circular ports are about 17" diameter. The image above shows a small VCO venting or purging port and the image below shows a couple more. Overall width in the direction of the depth of the chamber is about 36 inches if you include the air cylinders. Additional similar items maybe listed separately or available on request. Abbess 18"x18"x18" laboratory vacuum chamber
18" Cube Standard model vacuum chamber from Abbess. Purchased new 6 years ago. Was barely used several times to assist with removing air bubble voids from curing epoxy. Includes shelving system with four stainless steel shelves. This is a very rugged benchtop chamber made from 1/2" aluminum alloy plates with all seams welded tight. The door is made of 2" thick acrylic with hinges on the right side and draw latches on the left side. The replaceable O-ring seal is in perfect condition and holds-22inHg vacuum with about 1-2inHg drop in 24 hours. You can find more info on Abbess' web site. The shelves have some drops of cured epoxy on them- see photo above for an example. We'll do our best to scrape most of them off before shipment. Also included is a 115V single-phase Emerson Model C55NXHGJ-4035 vacuum pump. It was pulled from a“vacuum table” I believe was the description which according to the surplus info was theoretically functional. No testing has been performed and it is sold without warranty. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Which itself offered a roughly 1” opening. Why would you apply a vacuum to the outside of a sealed container. And what would you put in the container. And why would you do that? I don’t know. I do not have anything to plug the hole in the aluminum container. In the original application it had an Alcatel roughing pump with a nice little gate valve between the two. Brooks Automation 200mm wafer vacuum transport chamber w/ robot and aligner
This unit was part of an Aviza Celsior ALD system which was recently decommissioned and dismantled. The system was put together in 2007 and was only lightly used. All of the components on this chamber are in like-new condition. And it is ready to be used in a new cluster tool. Besides the chamber. There is a Brooks Automation atmospheric wafer robot arm, a wafer aligner, and a variety of vacuum gauges and valves. The cluster tool this unit came from was being used with had four process modules, and so four sides of the chamber are furnished with VAT gate valves. The unused wafer ports are covered with polycarbonate windows. This chamber is very heavy. And my current best guess for the weight is approximately 3000 lbs. I will get a better estimate for shipping before the auction ends. The buyer will need to arrange their own freight shipping.
