You are bidding on a TKR-820 Repeater with duplexor. FCC ID# ALH9TKR-820-1. Physically it seems in good condition. The RX antenna connection is missing. The unit will hum when turned on. But no lights come on. Also included is the service manual, it is in good condition. There is a white 12 pin plug in the rear of the unit. Because I have no way to test this, I am listing it"Not working or for parts" Again I am selling this AS IS. I tried to take plenty of pictures. To give every angle. They have been tested in both repeater and base station mode. It has a beautifully rich audio quality. These are designed to be used to drive a high power amplifier. They also can be used as a satellite receiver in a voted system and have built in status(pilot) tone generators to supply constant status tone to the voter. This is an electronic item and has no warranty other than it will not be DOA. This repeater/base is still in production by Kenwood and service/parts are available. The repeater unit consists of a high quality receiver with a built in tunable band pass filter 5 Mhz wide. A little history about these repeaters: They were used in a voted system; the two older ones were used as a transmitter/local receiver and a remote receiver with the receiver audio being sent to the voter by phone line. Later after narrowband arrived and it was discovered that the coverage area shrunk to almost in half. Two additional receivers were added. Then. The phone companies decided to upgrade their lines to a fiber and copper mix, the system suffered miss-voting and erratic audio levels. This cabinet and its contents were removed from a working environment. When output power was tested with the duplexer connected this had a continuous output of 30 watts. When connected to a service monitor directly to the output of the repeater it showed 42 watts. The repeater and duplexer are currently set to receive on 457.6375 Mhz with a DPL of 116. And to transmit on 452.6375 Mhz. The Zetron worldpatch has been powered on and the carrier light comes on when the repeater is transmitting, but otherwise is untested. The DC input was also tested on the repeater with a deep cycle battery and power output stayed the same while running on a battery. GE MASTR II UHF BASE/REPEATER POWER AMPLIFIER
Up for auction is a GE Mastr II base/repeater popwer amplifier. It is in nice condition(see pics) And works perfectly. Meter pics show the amplifier with 1/4 watt(250 mw) drive at 450 MHz. at 13.0 volts DC drawing about 31 amps. The output pinned my 150 watt Bird wattmeter. I backed it off to the rated 100 watts and ran it for about an hour. The heatsink was warm, but the Bird dummy load was too hot to touch, so I shut it down. This amp fits the standard Mastr II chassis. But I also have 19" rack mount brackets for these GE amps if required. This amplifier has a 7 day Right Of Return. Do not blow it up and send it back as I will not refund your money(been there. Done that) This amp has been well tested and will be in very good working condition when you get it. This is the last of the Tait repeaters that I have. It is a UHF HAM band repeater as shown. But could be converted back to the commercial band by reprogramming a EPROM and retuning the radio. We have already programmed the EPROM with all of the normal range of repeaters. Changing the frequency requires that the dip switch in the transmitter and the receiver be set. Motorola T5404 1504 Celwave UHF Repeater Duplexer 450 - 470 Mhz GMRS HAM Comm
Up for auction is a used UHF 450- 470 Mhz Radio Repeater Duplexer. Comes as pictured with UHF connectors. This model is the same as the Motorola T1504 cans. Except the T5404 fits in the bottom of a MSR2000 repeater cabinet. This unit has the notches as well as pass adjustments on the front as you can see from the photos. It can also be rack-mounted. There is approx 1.5dB IL per side with over 100dB notches! Currently tuned to 444.300/449.300 Mhz in the ham radio band. It can also be used for GMRS, Commercial, or Public Safety radio repeaters. Can handle up to 250 watts! Oh did I mention there are NO piston notches that get blown out when lightning hits your tower! The notches are set mechanically by adjusting elbows with the screws! The condition of these is 8/10 but they work perfectly! The reason they are reduced to an 8 is there is some ... moreslight surface rust on the back upper side which is common on these models. Motorola R100 UHF repeater H5015B 25 watt on 451.875 mhz GMRS capable
This is a Motorola R100 UHF repeater currently on 451.875/456.875 mhz. From what I find it is a 25 watt with PL tone. It does have built in AC power supply. I see that other people have reprogrammed these to one of the GMRS frequencies. These were manufactured in the late 80's to early 90's so they are no spring chicken. But properly tuned should provide good service. There is lots of information on the repeaterbuilderdotcom website. Telling how to add an external controller. Make a programming cable and program the repeater. Programming cables are available on Ebay. And software can be found online. With the addition of a duplexer and antenna you should have a complete system. We will provide a AC power cable and a Motorola key for the lock. Unit is untested and sold as is. I am calling it'used' to be safe, but it is basically new since it still has the original plastic caps on the N-type connectors. The specifications include a power handling capability of 250 watts, insertion loss of 1.0 dB and isolation(TX to RX) of 75 dB(min) at 5 MHz separation.
