I have a Motorola MTR2000 UHF 40 Watt analog repeater that works excellent and is cosmetically in great shape. It is currently programmed for the UHF ham bands 444.000 MHz. PLEASE NOTE* The built-in power supply has a filter noise issue on transmit only. It either needs to be repaired or replaced to use the internal power supply without this noise. The repeater currently will work on the built-in power supply. But when transmitting you will hear a funny kind of low-end warble noise along with voice audio. The repeater will also operate on an external power supply with NO noise so you can by-pass the internal one all together and still run the repeater. An Astron 35 is recommended. I can program the repeater for you if you like. I'll also supply a programming cable and CPS software for you to do it yourself. 100 watt UHF Repeater Amplifier with Power Supply*** Tested***
This item is a rack mounted UHF Repeater Amplifier. The model number is PSU100-25RF and it is made by Vocom Products/Crescend Technologies. You can see it listed at the crescendtech web site. It was on their 2009 product list. It does not have a receive bypass relay. So it is listed as a repeater amplifier. The specs say that it has 100 watts output with 25 watts input. We tested it at 460.500mhz and measured 90 watts with 25 watts input. The test data on the label says 70 watts output with 20 watts input at 462.675mhz. The LED on the front is on when ac power is on, the LED on the bottom comes on when keyed. The cooling fan also comes on when keyed. The inboard power supply is a 20 amp DuraComm. The RF connectors are N-Type. The measurements are 19 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 7 inches tall. Found this in our parts room. Fired it up and the unit was set for 1 watt which is what we needed to run our 100 watt RF amplifier,so the unit ran most of it's life never stressing the RF finals. I found the adjustment to increase the power and was surprised to see that it would go up to 50 watts! I set it for 30 which I think is the rated power level for continual duty. The receiver sensitivity is.35 microvolts. I have no way of programming it. Sold/lost/all the programming cables etc to do these repeaters. I may be able to locate a manual and will include it if I find it by the end of the auction. The unit is set up on 461.925 These are bulletproof repeaters and we had them run 100 watt finals there is a multi user tone panel which I believe run 5 or 6 discrete PL or DPL tones. This is a 3 foot 10 inch professional UHF Base station or repeater antenna I purchesed it about 5 years ago for my UHF business radio base unit. Then two years ago we took it down and put it up on a UHF Ham repeater for about a year, for the last two years I have been using it for a UHF 70CM Ham base antenna. It is a great antenna wood good forward db gain. will take up to 500 watt but have never put more then 100 watts into it.
