Teel Evenflow Pump - mid 1900's - runs well - Sump, Recirculating ? Vintage 40's
This pump is running fine. It was probably oiled every few hours as the label directs and had a coating of oily dirt on the upper parts of the pump so I brushed and wiped it off a bit. I put a gallon of water in a 5 gallon pail and plugged it in which the pump drew down to about 1/2" in less than a minute. So I'd say it is lifting between 1 and.75 galloons about 16" through its hose in a minute. The switch has a 3/8" wide arm with a 1/16" hole for a float rod. The switch has a spring which lifts it into the on position without the weight of a float. Thanks for looking
