Up for auction is a Scott Air-Pak 4500 PSI 60 Min carbon fiber SCBA cylinder in good condition. The tank has no gouges and the valve threads are in pristine condition. This cylinder was recently removed from service from a fire department due to the cylinder hitting its 15 year fire service lifespan. Even though it is not approved for use in fire service anymore. It is still a great cylinder for paintball, air guns, an air supply source, etc. The cylinder was manufactured March of 1998 with the latest hydrotest being May of 2009. SCBA units, ISI Vanguard
The auction is for two(2) ISI Vanguard SCBA units. These Items are in good working condition and each come with a carrying case. The Steel tanks were last Hydro tested 8/12 and that expired on 8/13. All seals in the tanks as well as in the actual packs and mask themselves were also replaced during the same checkup. The Facemasks had the lenses changed out and were leak tested and passed. By SBR fire in Phoenix AZ in 2013. I used the tanks to explore abandoned Uranium mines in the Utah area. Since there is a risk of Radon gas inside the mines, these positive pressure units were great. The stickers on the tanks can be removed, they were just applied by myself because it fit what I was using them for. I will also include the filling adapter a $75 value. With the filler unit you can take the tanks to any SCUBA refill shop or a local Sports chalet ... moreand have them refilled for around $5-10. All these tanks need are to be re-hydro tested. This should cost about $10 per tank. I will need to ship each tank separate. And that's about $20 a piece. So I have combined the shipping into a $40 charge. Up for auction is a very nice lightly used Scott AV2000 full face respirator. See the pics for the evidence of light use. There are a couple of scratches on the faceplate that look to have come from storage and moving it around. It doesn't affect the use. See the close up pic to see the scratches. You can see every spec of dust in the picture. All straps. Buckles, rubber and material are in good condition. I've had the mask inspected by the Fire Captain at my local fire department and he says it looks great and that his AV2000 that he uses on duty looks a lot worse. For a good face seal, you just can't have more facial hair than a handle bar mustache! The size is Large. The rubber face seal is black. NO RESERVE!
