1892 Yale & Towne Vault Door Time Lock Antique Clock Timer Safe Timing Device
Selling off all our collectibles and family hoarded stuff. Up for auction is an old Yale& Towne Door Time Clock. It is a safe or vault door timing device with triple movement. Overall excellent working condition. I do not have the keys. Winding key or door open key. The wind key is pretty standard, I used a clock key to test each movement. That is why the photos shows the pointer not on zero. When the clocks run down they stop on zero. Then there is a little keyhole, top left, to open the door. I believe this key would be pretty easy to acquire as well. It is very heavy, easily over 10 lbs. too much for my small scale to weigh. Zildjian Cymbal Safe - Hard Impact Plastic padded cymbal case!
Offered in this auction is one Zildjian Cymbal Safe. It will accomodate several cymbals up to 20" diameter. Secured and centered through the hole in the bells. The case has firm foam padding on the lid(the cymbals stack largest first to smallest last) which is lifting but easily reapplied(or just leave it by like I have for the past 20 years) There are 3 felts included to go in between cymbals or you could use pieces of felt which would provide room for more cymbals. I am not sure how may it will hold but I've had a pair of hats, 3 crashes and a ride in it with some room to go. Seems like it would hold more cymbals than you could pick up but I don't have enough pies to test the limits! Your stack of cymbals is secured with a regular nut inside the case then a wing-nut secures the bottom of the case to the top. The handle is in ... morefine shape. National Safe Cast Iron Safe Bank- Scarce
Being offered is a wonderful Cast Iron Safe Bank known as the National Safe. The bank is quite old but I do not have a date. It measures 5-1/8" H x 3-3/4" W x 3-3/4" D. This bank can be found in the ISB book pages 5& 6 Item#26. It is rated D for Scarce. The bank can also be found in Moores-The Penny Bank Book p.53. What makes this bank so unique is that it is one of the only cast iron safe banks that has the combination dial as the safe door. The bank has very interesting depictions on all sides and on the top(See Pictures) The coin slot is located on the back It comes with a working combination. However it is difficult to open once it has been locked. For as long as I have had it it has been displayed with the safe door slightly ajar. The combination will be given to the winner. It will be shipped with the door open. The ... morebank has no breaks or cracks in cast iron. It does have spots where the paint is missing. Beautiful Vintage Japanese Misono Hand Safe, Japan, Toho, Lock Box, Wind Up Bell
Up for auction is this beautiful dark green metal Misono Hand Safe. This safe features a wonderful wind up alarm system. There is a brass key that you use to wind up the safe. And then you set a switch to"ring" When you close the safe, the alarm is then activated. If anyone tries to pick the safe up, a bell inside starts ringing like crazy. There is a little brass pendulum that drops when you pick up the safe and that is what activates the alarm. To then shut off the alarm, you simply open it up and set the switch to"stop" The top shelf of the safe has a nice wooden box with 3 removable lids. I believe this safe is from the late 1940's or 1950's. The man who originally owned this safe was in Japan from 1946 to 1956. The safe is in good condition, but unfortunately I don't have the key that locks the safe, so ... morethere is no way to lock it. Also, originally it had two combination dials that no longer work, and the dials have fallen off. You can see them in the pictures. The latching mechanism works great, so if you were able to find a key or if you had a locksmith make you one, I do believe the safe would lock. The safe weighs about 10 and half pounds, and the dimensions are about 14 inches by 10 inches by 6 inches tall. The finish has a beautiful pattern to it like you'd find on an old vase, but my camera didn't quite pick it up. If you have any questions, please let me know. Victorian MATCH SAFE/PENDANT STERLING SILVER ENGLISH 1901Hallmarks Ivy Design NR
This lovely sterling silver British match safe from 1901 is too lovely just to sit on a shelf. We think this amazing piece could be worn as a pendant with a long silver chain. Perfect little pillbox. The silver case is 2 inches long including the ring on top. 5cm) It is 1.4 inches wide(3.4cm) and 8mm deep. The weight is a substantial 27. 78 grams. The design is an etched profusion of ivy. The leaves cover the entire back of the match safe. But a triangular space(lower left) on the front has room for a monogram. All construction of this safe is in perfect order. The hinge snaps down tightly and securely. The striker is in fine shape and we find very little wear on this beautiful piece- it's been well cared for for more than a century. Hallmarks- see Photo 3. Our research indicates this is sterling(lion rampant) from Birmingham England(anchor) ... moreand dated 1901(lower case letter"d" The"H H&S" mark could indicate the makers as Henry Hobson and Sons.
