It has stamp that looks like"HRF 16/10/44" It has a stamp on the other side which I think is"L&BR Co 3 741 LOT 228A" I believe L&BR Co was the manufacturer. I'm not a expert in this area so please look at the pictures to make your own determination. The bag is an olive green canvas with button closure and carrying strap. It is stamped with W.L.C. 1941. Because the year is different than the mask. I'm not sure if they originally went together. It includes a small canister that contains a cloth and has the following wording: Top: No 342. For sale is a RACAL SAFETY LIMITED- Respirator Breathing Apparatus Mask. I don't know much about these masks. It has a filter and an electric cord with a weird looking plug on the end. Not sure what it plugs into or whether it works or not. I have no reason to believe that it shouldn't work. The filter cartridge says 1989 on it so this mask isn't the newest on the market. For auction is a RARE British gas mask by AVON. Maker of the U.S. Military's M50 and M53. AVON masks are regarded as the finest masks in the world. This particular mask is either the SF10 or the AR10(actual mask is pictured) I do believe it is the SF10 but online searches bring up both models under either search. Either way this IS a SAS Special Forces variant of the AVON S10 mask. Some of the notable upgrades are the larger lenses. These lenses are also ballistic whereas the S10's lenses are not. The drinking system has also been removed(this is done at the factory) and capped for weight reduction and less places for leaks to occur. Thanks for looking This is a very nice original WWII US Army M1 Dust Respirator. Not a gas mask. This is a dust mask for desert conditions. These were issued to tank crews, halftrack crews and truck drivers in desert conditions. As you can see from the pics the mask is in very nice order. It is complete with no splits or rips in the rubber. All the straps are present and the elastic is still springy. Dated'42 the mask is still in its original box. The box is a little knocked about from 70 years of storage but is still quite presentable.
