Vintage Fire Hose Nozzle W. D. Allen Mfg. Co. I really do not know a lot about fire hose items. I found this in my dads garage. Years ago he was instrumental in forming a Volunteer Fire Dept. in the small town where I grew up. Their first fire truck was an old one. Probably dated to the 40's or 50's. I have a feeling this piece came off that truck. It is solid brass and on the side it reads Listed Portable Spray Type Nozzle 390M W.D. Allen Mfg. Co. It does have some other numbers above that 592-59-SM. This piece measures 3 1/4 inches long and the opening on the connector end is 2 1/2 inches. Please email with any questions or concerns. Up for auction is a hard to find vintage 7 1/2" long chrome plated brass fire hose nozzle marked"American Rubber Mfg. Co. Found at an estate sale of a former University of California firefighter. The nozzle is in excellent condition with only minimum signs of use. The chrome shows no wear and there are only a few small scratches and 2 VERY small ding dents 1/4" or less(hard to see on last photo) The outside measurement of the hose end is 2" while outside measure of spout is 3/4" The lucky winner pays S&H of $13.95 for well packaged USPS parcel post mail with delivery confirmation anywhere in the USA. This auction is for a vintage large brass fire hose nozzle. It weighs over 5lbs 2oz. It is about 11-3/8” tall and at the widest point where it budges about 3-1/4” It has lots of great markings as can be seen in all the pictures. Where the tip attaches to the nozzle it looks like the flange is a piece of leather sandwiched between. I cannot say for sure but it looks like it to me anyway. The tip necks way down to a 1/2" water outlet hole. Vintage circa 1960 Akron Brass Auto Stream Fire hose nozzle This vintage fire hose nozzle is over 50 years old and in very good condition. The button and pins work smoothly. I don't have a fire hose to connect this to. But ran it under water, and the water flows freely in the settings it should, slower in other settings, and shuts off as well. There is some green paint towards the base of the nozzle, and some glue residue on the front side. This is a great piece to add to your collection. A description which the manufacturer sent me from their catalog is included in the pictures.

First off the 2.5 gallon extinguisher shown in the first photo below is not for sale- it is there for a size reference only. The rare old extingui sher has some dings of course. Largest can be seen in the photos right of center in the top seam. There is also some tarnish, some stains with different tones and such but it would buff up very nicely if you so choose. While giving the inside a rinse I noticed that it does have a few very small pin holes so it is not water tight, due to caustic nature of the soda bi carbonate) but it is still very solid and heavy at 30 pounds T his beautiful display piece dwarfs the 2.5 gallon extinguisher. HUGE Vintage Firemen Brass Fire Hose Spigot Nozzle Lower Section w/ markings
This auction is for the handle section of a vintage fireman’s hose nozzle. It is solid brass and weighs just under 10lbs. It says“NIBCO” DWV” 3” stamped on it. It stands about 12-5/8” tall and at the base is about 5-5/8” in diameter. It is in sound shape. Please see pictures for condition. Thanks!

Vintage Industrial Fireman's Fire Hose Nozzle Firefighters' 1935 Colt Jet Pipe
Here's an interesting piece. A specialty nozzle for the end of a fire hose. It comes apart into multiple pieces, some markings include"Okan. City" and"Colt" as well as"Pat 2,089304" The patent date is from 1935 by Paul Stein. There are built in metal handles and valves as well as two really nice leather grips. The very tip has been engraved by someone"LH Thread. It's a very cool item, and heavy. It measures about 18" x 11" x 6" and weighs about 20 pounds. Scuff marks, discoloration, nicks found, scuff markings and pitting to the chrome, especially to the handle, and bad cracking found to the rubber on the handles; one of the screws is missing from the bracket on the bottom near the handle.
