RARE Old Antique Fire Extinguisher Grenade Bottle Green Clear Aqua Glass
4" High x 3 1/2" Wide Interesting example of a late 19th. Early 20th century fire grenade bottle in typical round formation with a series of outside linear designs. It was commonplace during the period to have an item such as this readily available in the case of a fire. The bottle would have originally been filled with various chemicals and flame retardants. The user would simply grab the bottle and throw it at the opposing flames. The glass intern would shatter releasing the chemicals therein. As you can see this example has a beautiful aqua marine color. It is of course empty. But was likely originally sealed with a cork. We tried it under a UV light to see if it reacts. And the visible green does light, but not as much as others we have seen. Please see all the images for condition and specifics. You are buying a very nice antique Pyrene Fire Ext inguisher No. R 329615. Patent No. 1.688,195 w hi ch was granted in 1928. This is in very good vintage condition. It has been polished. So most of the in k that was in the engraving is gone. There is some green patina where things screw on(tip and nut on top for example) that can be seen in the photos but is very h ard to see in person. This has light surface scratches and two very small dents. Both on the top portion. One is to the right of the ha ndle and one is to the left of the handle on the rim. Empty as required. This is embossed G.W.T.W. on the top as shown. I don't know wh at that stands for(I've researched it and only came up with Gone With The Wind. Vintage model 26-2 Buffalo fire extinguisher, dry chemical type
This is a relatively nice Buffalo fire extinguisher. The don't know a lot about this type. But the physical condition appears to be good, except for a bent up hose holder bracket and the small capsule under the handle is rusty. I believe it use to have a hose, but no longer does. I don't know what is inside because I have not tried to remove the cap, but it feels and sounds empty. I don't see many of these around and would make a nice addition to someones collection. Up for bids is this nice old copper and brass 2 1/2 gallon soda acid fire extinguisher. IT IS EMPTY. It is called"Th e Ecnarusni Fire Extinguisher" It was made by The Buffalo Chemical Fire Extinguisher Company here in Buffalo. N. Y. It's in good condition for it's age. In my opinion. It came out of The old Larkin Soap Company warehouse building here in Buffalo. When I found it. It had been painted with a n industrial light green latex paint( the same color as the walls of the area I found it in) I soaked it in extremely hot water and floated the paint off.And this is what was underneat h. I did not polish it.You can see rem nants of the original dark red paint around the bottom and around the placards.You can see the origi nal black and red paint that would have filled the background of the placard.There are some small remnants ... moreof the green paint that I removed on the brass top that I left there because it wouldn't come off with the soapy water and brush.I figured it was a part of it's history. And therefore part of it's patin a.There are some scratches. But no dings or dents. The hose is dry rotted at the top. The internal acid bottle system is complete and intact. It is painted blue inside. As can be seen by the photo s. It measures 2 4" tall and weighs in at a hefty 16 lbs. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have! Local pick up is welcome d. The extinguisher stands approx. 24” from the base to the top of the handle and is listed as 2 1/2 gallons. The brass plate states“TESTED 350 LBS” The brass plates. Which include directions for charging(Soda-Acid) and the insurance requirements, are securely attached to the copper cylinder. The Underwriters Laboratories brass inspection plate is also securely attached. The tank is empty. All the rivets on the back look to be solid with no apparent damage. The hose is connected tightly and appears to be original with no sign of cracking. It is complete with the original nozzle attached. To my knowledge. Vintage Pyrene Brass fire extinguisher railroad boat jeep cycle antique empty
I will be listing other brass fire extinguishers as well. This is a small brass Pyrene fire extinguisher. This one is empty no chemicals inside it measures about 14 inches. It has normal wear to the finish and spotting but if you can buff and polish I think this will clean up nice. The label does have a damaged corner but these are antique and that is normal. These small ones were used on boats trains motorcycles in army vehicles like jeeps and airplanes really anywhere you needed a small extinguisher. Shipping to lower 48 only.

Vintage Civil Defense hand-pump fire extinguisher 4 gallon Arvin-Noblitt Sparks
Here's a nice hand pump extinguisher with Civil Defense logo. Its a 4 gallon unit made by Arvin-Noblett Sparks and certified by Underwriters Laboratories. 4 gallon capacity. Pump works and sprays water but it will need a new hose. The bracket that connects the pump to the body appears to be porcelainized. Clean interior. 24" tall. Thanks for looking!

All-Out Fire Extinguisher - Antique - Still Charged and Functional
One very old. But still apparently functional, All-Out fire extinguisher. Serial number tag and primary label still intact, as shown. Unfortunately, the usage card shown hanging from the discharge valve in photo 1 seems to have fallen off after taking the photo, and become lost. I opened the valve just a hair. To see if it was still holding a charge, and was surprised when a little gas hissed out! Apparently, she's still live, which will limit shipping options to Parcel Post.
