I added a picture showing daylight when you look through the hole in it. I assume this is not normal and the cap is missing a seal of some sort. A pulley has been added to the crankshaft. There is a valve where the oil drain plug used to be. This unit was pulled from the storage locker of a carwash maintenance tech.
