This auc tion is for a T e ch 21 sansamp British character pedal. This pedal is used and has some m i nor cosmetic flaws from use. But works perfectly. This is the first version of this pedal put out by Tech 21. So it does NOT have the cabinet emulation defeat button. I have found that these pedals have such re sponsive E Q sections it doesn't really matter all that much. I find this pedal is best used as a preamp in front of a power amp or as a direct recording device. It does not make a great distortion pedal. You can get a lot of sounds out of this. clean to crunch. I find the cabinet e mul ation to be passible. But I normally used some EQ options or IR soft ware when recordings with it. These eight discs are amongst several floppy discs and tapes which will be listed over the next few days. They belonged to my partner Ade Cook who died in 2010. He worked with the Pet shop Boys in the 1980s. Pictured is a section of his CV covering this period. He was a wonderful musician. It is best that these end up with someone who can use/enjoy them rather than them continuing to languish in a box! This lot includes many classic titles like mexican radio. Male/female voices, choir, and tympani. You also get a copy of the user formatting disks so you can back up all the disks you like and protect your investment. These disks are my back up copies for my originals that I made on high quality new old stock floppies about six months ago. They are all properly labeled with the original library information. I sold my lot of original discs recently and received positive feedback. I just sold my last E1 so I guess I don't need these discs anymore. These are the last emulator discs I have. I am a life long Emulator user since day one. E1 disks are RARE you could go another 5 years without seeing another one on ebay and they rarely show up on ebay in high quality, tested, always climate controlled condition. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: If you ... moreare not sure your current emulator is functional and it does not boot up with one of these disks do not blame the disk! If your 5.25" disk drive is dirty you can damage the disk! If you do not know how to remove your drive and clean it I can help you with that. Depending on when your E1 was built it may be using a different OS than some of these disks(but the majority will work no problem) IF you have an emulator with a different OS than the one on these disks all you have to do is boot your machine with a disk that currently works first,THEN place the other disk in the drive and load banks one and two. E-MU SYSTEMS EMULATOR III XS SAMPLER/ EMAX II
BID WITH CONFIDENCE! Up for bid is my E-MU Systems Emulator IIIXS digital sampler. I am the original owner and bought it back in 1995. It's 100% fully functional and cosmetically intact, except two scratchs on the top from typical rack rash. It's a turbo version which means it has max out ram. 32mb) It also has both digital inputs and analog stereo inputs for sampling. unlike most XP versions which only have digital inputs) It boots off a Iomega zip 100 external drive via SCSI. It had an 1 GB internal hard drive but it die about 6 years ago. Nice thing about the zip drive is that if has it's own power supply so it's not pulling juice from the internal PSU and isn't as loud. The floppy drive still works perfect. This system is complete. Original manuals, box, OS disk, 2 XLR female to 1/4 TRS phono 20' cables for your ... morebalanced outputs and even comes with an original factory CD Rom sound disk too but you will need a SCSI CD Rom drive to use it. I'm including paper work from E-MU Systems which will tell you which manufacture drives are compatible and are not. These are rare and don't come up very often, if you understand the E-MU design then you will know that this was designed after the original Emulator III keyboard, it has the same OS but digital filters instead of analog filters. Also the cool thing with this sampler is you can import EMAX II samples into the EIIIXS. The OS allows you to convert them through SCSI and I have tested this feature and it works great. So this is just like owning an EMAX II but with a lot more RAM too. I own an EMAX II turbo too and in my opinion this sounds a lot better. I formatted one iomega zip 100 disk and loaded one EMAX II bank on it to get you started. This will only ship in the lower 48 of the USA. Sorry no Alaska or Hawaii and no international bidders.
