Each of the rail slide asm has 3 bearing per rail for stability. So each slide/ stage rides on TWO rails/ SIX BEARINGS. The ball screws are.2" pitch and approx.6" dia each slide asm has a Warner 24vdc brake. the unit was set up for nema sized stepper or servo motors you will need shaft couplers and adaptord for the motor/s you choose I will describe each slide separate. The base slide is set up for a Nema mount motor. The ball screw has a 3/8" dia stem for coupling to servo or stepper motor. The slide is approx. 7" wide, and 30" long including brake and motor mount. The slide has a usable travel of approx. 16" The Y slide(up/down) is set up for a Nema ... moremount motor. The ball screw has a 5/16" dia stem for coupling to servo or stepper motor. Klinger Dual Axis Stage that utilizes Ball Screws As you can tell from the pictures I was going to make a 3 axis machining center. This would also make a nice setup for a 3D Printer. I'm only selling the 2 axis Klinger Stage but if you wanted the aluminum T-Slot Frame(4" x 2" that I put together I'll include for an additional $70 + $30 s/h. Otherwise this auction is just for the stage itself. This Klinger Stage is setup for Nema 23 standard format using 1/4" shafts. It's a little tricky mounting tightening the included couplers and it would be a lot easier if the person that bought this bought new couplers that were slightly longer than the ones currently on the system. However. They work fine just takes a few minutes. These Klinger stages are sold under several names such as Newport. This one appears to be in good ... moreworking order and movements are smooth. Also. These stages appear to use precision ground ball screws which is the good stuff. These are very accurate and ideal for CNC Engraving, CNC Milling and similar tasks. I'll include the machined stage top shown in images at no-charge. This cost me about $100. Note: Red ruler shown in photo's is 12" length to give scale to the size of the stage.
