Measures approximately 14 inches long overall with 9 inches of travel travel. Each end is 3/8" diameter to attach a motor coupling or put in a bearing. The thread pitch measures about 10 threads per inch of length. The nut has good tight threads with no apparent backlash that I can feel. You might be able to use this in custom building a CNC router. Mill, or 3D printer if you couple it to servo or stepper motors. Sold as-is.

They were removed from service because they didn't hold the extremely precise tolerances required for such applications. therefore the electronics are not guaranteed functional. In fact the motor and encoder should be assumed to be non-functioning. I don't know how to drive the motor or interface with serial encoder so they are untested. 10 rotations of the shaft got me exactly 5" of travel and its a 7 start lead screw with a diameter of 1/2" That should be enough data to derive most of the critical dimensions but if you need additional info please don't ... morehesitate to ask. Thread depth looks to be approximately 1/32" but this is an approximation. Motion is smooth with no discernible"lash" or inconsistencies throughout the 28" range of motion. 31.5" effective screw length less 3.5" stage width. Stage is 3.5" X 4.5" I have another assembly available which is a functional equivalent to this one. These parts are in like new condition and i have labor into machining the ends of the screws and adding mounting holes to the bronze nuts. It was a large table(6'x6' I used only high quality components for this build. no chinese junk. these lead screws are from Nook Industries. parts that were cut were within.001" of the cad drawings. all three screws have the same lead. they are all 10 turns per inch/ single start screws. the x and y screws are 5/8 diameter. the z screw is 1/2" diameter. the 5/8" screws are turned down to 1/2" diameter on the ends with a flat spot machined for the coupling. the 1/2" screw is turned down to 5/16" on the ends with flat spots machined for the coupling.
