i rewired them back to how they were originally. But you may want to check. I had disconected the color wheel from spinning, to have it remote controlled. but now i wired it back, there is one switch on side to turn on and off. and one switch to turn on and off the color wheel. I used three of them in my garage hanging them from the peak of the garage roof and using pipes about 8 feet long. Because they are older they have no ground wire so I added a green ground wire and replaced the short black and white wires with longer ones at the same time which is easily done. They come with a mogul size socket, you can use a mogul base bulb or you can get standard base lamp adapters that convert the mogul socket to standard bulbs. When you're done you'll have something that looks really sharp. I have a number of these Lumenpulse Lumencove 4 foot long RGB architectural LEDs. These require DMX control and a special connector. If you aren't familiar with DMX these probably aren't for you. The require a special connector. However I can give you the part number of the connector and the pin out in case you want to make your own cables. These daisy chain. They are marked for 240V, but the power supply that runs them is rated for 120 to 240. I run them off of 120, they work fine, all the pictures and video of them working are on 120V. They are used; I have cleaned and tested each unit. They have a fixed DMX starting address- each unit has three DMX addresses, for red, green, blue.
