Vintage Revere Electric Incandescent Street Light
A very rare Revere Electric Manufacturing incandescent street light from the 1950's for your collection. Luminaire has porcelain mogul base socket and swing down glass globe refractor with no chips or cracks. Slipfitter designed to mount on 1 1/4" mast arm and has stainless steel latch to hold globe in place with Revere Electric engraved on side of slipfitter as shown in pictures. These were designed to compete with the Line Material Junior Spherolite luminaires and I have seen very few installed during or after that time period and none on any websites for sale. I could not find any information on any website on this luminaire and the Revere Electric lineup of street lighting in the mid 20th century. This fixture is marked Holophane Endural No. 4340 Pat. 2758200. Can. Pat. 1958. It measures 9" tall and 10.5 inches wide at the bottom of the fixture. The shade itself has an 8.25 diameter. The shade is marked Holophane and Front. The top has a three inch inside diameter that you will have to insert a piece of pipe in order to make it a hanging ceiling fixture. I apologize if any of the photos here appear sideways. They are not showing that way until I insert them here for some reason I can't figure out. Shade has four mold marks.

I have searched the internet and cannot find this particular two pc housing or the 660w 600v two piece ceramic socket. casting# on the housing is 9549L The 9" x 4-1/8" clear globe is marked Crouse Hinds w/ the box logo and V200. The unit is very clean as if it has never been used. Possibly anti vibration socket? Does not appear to accept a safety cage. HUGE Vintage Industrial Machine Age Steam Punk Spotlight GE Search Light Lamp
This industrial light or lamp is marked but I cannot read what it says due to the rust. The glass lens is very thick and heavy. Has no cracks or chips and is marked"GE" It is a convex lens so it magnifies the light. This light does work and of course the bulb will be included. The cord and plug have been replaced and look fine but I would still double check it before putting it into use. There is no switch to turn the light off and on. The big turnbuckles that you would turn to loosen the outer ring so you can swing the light are frozen into place although I didn't give it much time to let the WD40 soak in. maybe with some more soak time they will loosen up but no guarantee on that. One of the stays that holds the lens tight to the face has been broken off however the remaining one does work so you can access the bulb. The iron ... moreparts are heavily rusted with pits, just the way I like to find things. There are some light scratches on the thick glass lens but nothing serious at all. This light is large and heavy. This is an Appleton portable hazardous light EHL-105 made in Chicago IL. The light works when we tested it. Has wires out the bottom to be hooked up It is 17 1/2" long. Not measuring the wires and is 6" wide. It is missing the glass cover to go over the bulb and the hook to hang it. Not sure if is the original wiring. Industrial Shop Garage Barn Lights 400 watt Low Bay
I recently acquired these low bay lights in a package deal. They were removed from a gym that had renovated to newer style lighting. I have 14 however. One has a broken lens it should still work but won't have a plastic cover. These lights feature a multitap ballast and are very efficient.
