This is a complete Synrad CO2 laser in need of a gas recharge. It is gas intact. But only puts out about 500mW. Basically lights up and that's it. The laser needs a 30V 7A power supply, and a 5V nominal(optical isolator- 2.5 to 6V is fine) signal to run. When new, it output about 14W of power at 10.6um, and a simple gas refill can make the laser tube good as new. This tube was originally for a high power laser coding machine. If you need this it could be a great deal. I have lots of lasers and other unique tech stuff for sale this week.

40 watt carbon dioxide laser tube and 110VAC power supply. The power supply is wired and ready to go. Attach the red. High voltage wire to the HR mirror end of the tube and the white ground return wire to the OC mirror end of the tube, plug in the power supply and you are ready to go. Add cooling water to the tube water inlet using a sink tap or chilled water supply(fish tank pumps work great) Start the water flow, press the red button on the power supply and a 40 watt beam emerges. WARNING: CLASS IV LASER SYSTEM Carbon dioxide lasers emit an invisible beam at 10600nm. They will readily burn most organic materials such as clothing and skin. Specular reflections are relatively rare in CO2 lasers due to the wavelength but a direct hit to the eye will burn the cornea and lens of the eye resulting in cataract. Eye protection is highly recommended.

This is a complete Synrad CO2 laser that outputs about 12.6W as measured on a power wizzard laser checker. The laser needs a 24 to 30V at 9A or better power supply. Old school design when design/long life was more important than cost. Good Power Mid 1990's Vintage. Built like a tank. I am told these tubes last so long because of the great heat transfer. I can see why epilog got out of it because of cost. RF solid design. These tubes can also still be recharged no problem. Long into the future also, Photovac, Ohio, has done about 50. Recovered from working equipment. Like new. I have realigned and cleaned the mirrors and this is quite a lively tube. Measured at ~0.71mW, which is quite impressive for its size. Spec is 0.3mW I think) It's optimum settings are about 1500VDC@ exactly 4.5mA with a 75K 5W ballast. The current setting is very critical with green tubes and should always be run as recommended!

small HE-NE gas laser tube and power suply
a small he ne laser. Homebrew laser power supply utilizing MOSFET or similar. Great to learn about running lasers. Works nice. A nice tight beam. Not sure what kind of power the flyback is supplying. It likely could power a larger laser. Requires a 12 volt source or perhaps 24 volts. Its pretty straitforward to operate. Sometimes the oscillator is not getting fed into the power transitor.But if you jostle the wires a little it will start up. to me its much better than some cheap semiconductor laser. The beam is naturally very tight.

This is a Synrad CO2 laser tube in need of a gas recharge. It is gas intact. But only puts out about 400mw. Zombie laser. The laser tube needs a 30VP 150W 47mHz RF signal to run. When new, it output about 13W of power at 10.6um, and a simple gas refill can make the laser tube good as new. This tube was originally part of a synrad J48-1 for a high end laser coding machine.
