This is a 2x2 inch square of Schott glass filter that passes wavelengths longer than 800nm. It was designed either for laser filter use or photographic use. I took a picture of some lights and you can see it filters out nearly all the visible light. The hot pink color is how most digital cameras see near infrared light. You can barely see through it. Small Plastic Infrared Photography Laser Filter 18mm Near IR Transmitting 780+nm
This is a 20mm square(18mm dia usable) of some sort of plastic IR pass filter material that passes wavelengths longer than 780nm. It was designed either for laser filter detector use or photographic use. It was originally used to make a machine vision camera highly sensitive to IR galvo scanned patterns for a semiconductor wafer die alignment robot. It should be put after the lens in front of the CCD element. I took a picture. And as you can see it filters out nearly all the visible light out. The hot pink color is how most digital cameras see near infrared light. You can barely see through it. These are small laser beam splitter cubes used to combine near IR. Red and Yellow with Green, Blue, Violet, or near UV or split a laser beam into separate polarizations. They work as beam splitters from 585nm to 780nm and will take up to a 500mw of laser power without a problem. The pass 415nm to near UV with a small attenuation. You could combine the beams from say a red laser at 655nm, and the violet at 405nm to make a nuclear flamingo pink or purple beam, or combine a 532nm beam with a 655nm beam for a color similar to a yellow hene laser. These are extremely high precision glass collimator lenses for use with lasers up to 1 watt of red. Or 3 watts of IR at 808nm. These lenses are about 5mm in diameter and about 3mm FL.
