JDS Uniphase Neodymium Glass or Nd:YVO4 Wafer Infrared Laser Optical Material
This is a wafer of Nd:glass or Nd:YVO4 optical material made for JDS Uniphase. It is a bit over 1 inch in diameter and about 1mm thick. It is doped with neodymium and was probably for some kind of DPSS laser. It could be cut up to make several laser crystals. I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.

Mid Infrared Laser FTIR Optical Window Lens Blank Material As2S3 0.63 to 6um
This is a As2S3 optical window or lens blank. It is 1.464 inch diameter by 0.230 inch thick. This material is used in FTIR spectrometers as the window material because it has an extremely wide bandwith of red to the middle of the middle infrared band. This lens material is very toxic if it is ground to powder. Burned, or exposed to acids. Any machining MUST be done in a glove box, but it could be ground into a lens using standard equipment for processing ZnSe or similar materials provided that great care is used in preventing the dust from getting all over the place. This blank of CVD As2S3 would cost well over 1,000 dollars from optics suppliers if you can find it. I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.

Small Plastic Infrared Photography Laser Filter 18mm Near IR Transmitting 780+nm
This is a 20mm square(18mm dia usable) of some sort of plastic IR pass filter material that passes wavelengths longer than 780nm. It was designed either for laser filter detector use or photographic use. It was originally used to make a machine vision camera highly sensitive to IR galvo scanned patterns for a semiconductor wafer die alignment robot. It should be put after the lens in front of the CCD element. I took a picture. And as you can see it filters out nearly all the visible light out. The hot pink color is how most digital cameras see near infrared light. You can barely see through it. This item is nice to use when testing laser pointers for leakage of 1064nm or 808nm as it blocks all the green light. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.
