This laser rail had a dye laser and optics mounted to it(not included) Power supply is from Laser Drive where the input is wired for 220 VAC and the output is 2450 VDC@ 6.5 mA. Nice laser. Not a scratch on the tube. Like new. This one I measured 3.3mw after only 10 minutes. It's rated for 2mw. Measured on a friends nice calibrated power meter. I will guarantee it for 3mw due to variances in meters. Un-polarized random beam. Comes with everything shown except the laser goggles box. This one had a cut cord like it was hard wired to a power supply. I built an elaborate splice for it to assure safety and reliability. The two cables were soldered and 2 layers of heat shrink with adhesive were added. I crimped a couple of stainless ear clamps on each end in the small phenolic box. Lastly. TELETRAC Stabilized Laser. Model No. 150. Serial No. 2254. Manufactured: Apr 1997. This is a stabilized Helium Neon Laser with output power rated at approximately 0.5 mW when new. I do not have equipment to measure the current output power. But the laser does produce a bright beam when powered on. This laser was previously part of a lab metrology system and is in very good cosmetic condition. Frequency and output power stablization are achieved via a feedback system that controls the laser tube temperature by means of a heater and a pair of vibrating reed fans. Mode lock is achieved approx 10-15 minutes after power is applied to the unit. Causing the"mode-lock-mode" red-green LED to turn off.
