This is a used heavy duty enclosure made from cast iron and then hot dip galvanized. The inside is 10x8x4 and the walls are from 1/2 to 1/4 inch thick. This box weighs 53 pounds. It is the most heavy duty enclosure I have ever seen, the name"Hope" doesn't exactly inspire confidence but this thing is massive. There are several holes drilled and tapped into the box a 1 inch and a 1/2 NPT in three of the sides and there is no gasket for the lid.
