This is a 1W 835nm laser diode that is coupled to a ST style fiber. It is very good for IR illumination and industrial applications like cutting and engraving. These lasers are extremely hard to find. And unlike the standard bare diodes, you do not need special optics to use it, a simple focusing lens will do. Oh, you could also use this diode to repair an agfa plate setter as long as the diode it uses is less than 1W and has the ST style fiber connector. It even comes with a coupler/generder bender! This is a narrow band beam splitter removed from a genetic scanner. It is very specific for 693nm at 45 degrees with 10nm span. The beam splitter is 22x33mm. And it originally it would reflect 693nm peak florescence light to a PMT tube and pass all else. It could be used for ruby laser beam deflection or camera protection as well since 694.3 is less than 2nm off center. RARE High Power Coherent 561nm Yellow Green Nd:Yag KTP Laser Diode Optics Set
This is a main crystal set 1x Nd:yag. And 1x KTP for up to ONE WATT of yellow-green Nd:YAG laser light at 561nm. This wavelength is used in certain biomedical applications and is very close to the human visual peak at 555nm. The color would be very nice and exotic to use for laser light show uses. This crystal set is extremely expensive and almost impossible to find. You need to supply the cavity OC and HR optic mirrors, but they should be easily found from large DPSS optic suppliers. See also my Spectra Physics millennia cable that would make diode pumping the crystal to saturation a simple task. You could also make it lamp pumped with a photo flash tube from a disposable camera if high peak power is needed. Even low power 561nm lasers sell for over 3 grand, so getting these parts may be a good option for a university lab that needs this ... morewavelength. I got one of these crystal sets lasing at very low power using a cludge of ex-telecom optics and most of the guts of a Uniphase nanolaser. SORRY- MY HOME BUILT CHARTREUSE GREEN LASER IS NOT FOR SALE, it was used to show the color comparison to 532nm. See the difference in beam color compared to a cheap 532nm pointer. See Warning! I assume this is 808nm. It was made 3/2002 and tested for 16.1W output at the end of a 1 meter fiber and current of 25.5 amps. The power supply reads 3.00 volts because of the voltage drop across the power leads. Slope is 1W/A with a threshold of 7 amps and 1 watt output at 8 amps. It's TEC cooled and needs to be properly heatsunk for continuous use. The cover was off when I got it and there are 2 minor dents visible in the pictures. Mouse over each photo to see whats up. This is extremely dangerous if improperly used and laser goggles are a must along with a beam stop! The auction is for the laser diode module only. These are extremely high precision glass collimator lenses for use with lasers up to 1 watt of red. Or 3 watts of IR at 808nm. These lenses are about 5mm in diameter and about 3mm FL. They are ideal for the first optic in the collimation system for higher power C-mount laser diodes due to their short focal length allowing you to gather most of the light.
