This auction is for an assortment of laser bits I've assembled over the years. It's enough to construct a 750W Nd:YAG laser. The cavity is originally one of four from a 3000W Coherent laser cutting/ welding system. I have one complete cavity. As well as some extra cavity pieces including one of the reflectors, and a variety of seals and such. There is one YAG rod and four arc lamps(the cavity uses 2 lamps, so 2 are extras) Additionally, I have both of the end reflectors from the original system- the mirrors are in good shape; note that the tale is not actually touching the optics, I just put it on the metal housing to keep dust out. This is VLOC Er:Yag rod. It is unique that it has mirror coated ends. It measures 3mm diameter by 50mm long. The rod makes a pulse of 2940nm light that is good for everything from materials processing, to biomedical uses to niche uses like moisture measurement of cloud. It needs lots of C and relatively low V to get it to lase, 1500uf at 750V using a cheap camera type flash lamp is plenty of juice. The primary pump bands are longer than 600nm so diode pumping is possible. With the current state of capacitor and battery designs, this could be built into a very neat portable laser project. For sale is a Coherent 7900 yag laser. It is a total workhorse which I have used for many years. Its only issue is the attenuator does not work correctly. The laser goes between 1.0 joule and 6.0 joules in one step. This has never presented any problem for me to do capsulotomies without damaging the intraocular lens. It has also been used to create peripheral iridotomies.

I found a Yag bar that goes with those golden yellow KTP crystals. This needs 25W at 808nm to run and will produce 500mw of yellow laser light with one of the yellow KTP crystals and suitable resonator mirrors. What i was told is they were used to make a strong yellow laser light source for use with some kind of astronomical telescope wavefront correction system. Basically yellow DPSS laser. To raman shifter, to sodium vapor amplifier, to telescope. One thing is for sure if you had to buy this crystal from VLOC, the cost would be well, astronomical! It’s compatible with 100-240v 50/60hz. We’ve owned it for just over a year running a stereolithography machine. It has worked without fault during that time. The only problem which I am aware of. Is that the LED on the Shutter switch doesn’t work anymore(am sure it’s an easy swap if inclined.
