With that information I was able to find an exact copy. Minus the beautiful colors mine has, listed as a Weller antique. This piece has beautiful colors and a romantic Victorian-country raised floral design. There are three different flowers in alternating pink and mustard/yellow– their stems run down to the ribbed bottom rim– their tops are ruffled(which makes the top of the stand ruffled/scalloped) There are also green leaves and. ... moreAlong with the pink& yellow flowers, the colors gradually blend into the brown base. Measurements are approximately– 20 ½” tall x 11” diameter and weighs right about 20 pounds. Condition– I am no pro and cannot grade this item. With that said I found; use marks, uniform(beautiful! crazing, small chips on the top rim(3/8” x ¼” and 1/8” x 1/8” small chip to the side(1/4” x 1/8” small chips to the bottom/base area(1/8” x 1/8” 1” x 5/8” a crack to the bottom(5” across the outside bottom and 2 ½” up the side– hairline& hard to see– does not go thru to the inside) and some small rub marks. Beautiful Weller Warwick Handled Planter-Bowl 1920’s EXC
This auction is for a gorgeous Weller pottery handled planter or bowl in the Warwick pattern from the 1920’s. The planter is in overall excellent condition with no chips cracks or crazing. The bright washes of colors are done in an arts and crafts pattern over a rustic woodsy design. There is one tiny glaze pop(factory) on one handle that you can slightly feel. It is among an area with a lot of what looks like glaze skips. But are a character of this pattern. This piece measure 7 inches wide, 10 inches across the handles by 3.5 inches high, 5 inches to the top of the handles. WELLER OAK LEAF BLUE PLANTER-BOWL
This wonderful. Unique piece is from my extensive personal collection of Weller Pottery. It measures 3-5/8" high at the highest point, 5-1/2" wide and 10-1/4" in overall length. It is in GOOD condition: NO abrasions or scratches NO hairline or other cracks NO staining or discoloration NO significant crazing of the glaze NO visible wear. However, there is a repair to one of the top points at the tallest end, where a piece broke off about 3/4" down from the very top, and was very neatly glued back on; while the repair was not professionally done, it is nearly invisible on the inside but on the outside one can see two tiny areas where glaze was lost and not able to be as cleanly repaired. the photos are greatly magnified to show the repair as clearly as possible, but the tiny bits of missing glaze are not nearly as visible ... morewhen looking at it with a naked eye) Even with this one flaw, the piece still shows very very well as a shelf-piece" and I would rate it a solid 4.0 using the scale below ONLY because of this repair. The planter is marked on the underside as shown in the photos. I use the following Grading Scale: 1. MINT- Like New or New; 2. EXCELLENT- Used but near-new, with only very minor wear, if any, limited to very small surface scratches or abrasions which are noticeable only with extra-critical examination; 3. VERY GOOD- Used, shows minor to moderate cosmetic wear(scratches and/or abrasions, nicks) consistent with age of item and, in the case of vintage pottery, small hairline cracks not related to impact may be present; 4. GOOD- may have some chipping, scratches, and minor cracks(perhaps with minor loss of glaze) but not to the extent which affects the structural integrity or practical serviceability; 5. FAIR- Shows considerable wear such as scratches, abrasions, chips(or in the case of glassware, cloudiness) or discoloration which detract from the overall appearance, and perhaps cracks which have at least partially begun to open but which may be repairable by an expert; 6. WELLER Color-Glazed HUGE Jardiniere Celtic Knot Marked!
This EXTRA-LARGE jardiniere is from my extensive personal collection of Weller Pottery. It has a mold design consisting of four side panels each with a large Celtic knot. And a band around the base representing an intertwined rope design. While I have Weller jardinieres with this same mold design done in the Clinton Ivory glaze(I currently have a small one listed in a separate auction) with this glaze the piece does not fit within any specific Weller pattern line; such pieces are often informally described as"Brown Glaze" see pp. 138-139 in the Huxford reference book) or"Color Glazed. This piece is overall in very good condition(about a number 3 on the rating scale shown below) There is one tight hairline crack extending several inches from the top rim, visible primarily only on the inside wall- the piece still has a good ring ... moresound when"pinged" with a finger, so the hairline does not have an effect on the structural integrity- and the is an area on the decorative band around the bottom where some abrasion caused a minor and shallow loss of glaze- looks like probably glaze bubbles which came open- in two places(one measures about 1/4" x 3/8" the other about 1/4" x 1/2" see last photo. Other than these two issues I find NO other nicks or chips NO abrasions or scratches NO other hairline or other cracks NO staining or discoloration NO visible evidence of repairs or restoration and only minor visible wear, quite mild relative to the age and intended practical use of the piece. The underside exhibits the proper block-letter"WELLER" die-impressed stamp, dating it to the early-to-mid 1920s. It measures about 9" high and 11" in diameter. NOTE: BECAUSE OF THE LARGE SIZE AND SUBSTANTIAL HEFT OF THIS PIECE, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY MY SPECIAL NOTES BELOW REGARDING PAYMENT AND SHIPMENT* I use the following Grading Scale: 1. Large Weller Dk.Green Jardiniere VGC
I have several Weller jardinieres similar to this in my collection. With high gloss, wonderfully rich shades of green, gold and brown. I've never been able to determine a particular pattern name in which to include them however because of their unique glaze treatment. These same Weller molds were alternately used for pieces included in the Burntwood, Claywood, Roma Atlantic and a few select other pattern lines, each with their own distinctive glaze treatments, but the glossy colors of these- whether done in a single solid color or 2-tone colors(even a few multiple colors but not considered the same type of"blended glaze" as, say, McCoy Pottery or Robinson Ransbottom) stand apart from any of those other lines. This example is a solid color, a rich deep green, close to what I'd call forest green. It measures 7-3/8" high ... morex 9-3/8" diameter, and the wonderful Arts& Crafts inspired form has four distinct side panels, each with a slightly different design I think depicts grape leaves& stems and, on most, grapes. The panels are separated by vertical lines which are established by and extend downward from the more prominent four raised"dividers" around the neck area. It is in very good condition, showing no chips or cracks or other damage, but it does have some minor cosmetic issues. Most significantly, there are numerous small glaze"POPS" and pockmarks scattered throughout, most of which have the characteristic white Ohio clay showing through- THESE ARE NOT CHIPS, JUST AREAS WHERE GLAZE BUBBLES OCCURED DURING PRODUCTION AND HAVE SINCE BROKEN OPEN, not unlike a teenager's facial blemishes. These areas are virtually all shown in the posted photographs, I HAVE BEEN VERY CAREFUL TO NOT OBSCURE OR HIDE THESE BLEMISHES. Other than these concerns the piece is in exceptionally clean condition showing little-to-no evidence of use- including its lack of any mineral build-up inside or out. Stunning Rare Large Size Weller Aurelian Vase 36" High
This is a fantastic Weller Aurelian Vase measuring a whopping 36" tall and about 18" wide at the widest spot in a great bulbous form. I cannot even tell you how rare this size is. Most are in museums. This is from a 4th generation Kentucky estate. This is most certainly done by James Ferrell who was Wellers Art Director. He is famous for the green and purple grapes.This is for the serious advanced collector or a person with very fine taste and a big house to showcase this wonderfull piece. I cannot stress enough how absolutely beautiful and stunning this piece is. The good: Absolutely no cracks. Hairlines or breaks. The bad: It does have 3 glaze chips which are fairly common in these being over 100 yrs old.Smallest is about 1/4 in.2nd is about 1/4"x1/2" and the worst about 1"x1 1/2. Back to the good. None of the glaze ... morechips are in the pretty part really and very hard to notice over 2 feet away. This has the incised mark which most experts agree dates this pre 1900. Rare Early Weller Ware Nude Dancing Maidens Flower Frog Art Deco Pottery
This is a rare early Art Deco Weller Ware flower frog depicted two maidens dancing in the forest glade. This is very good condition for its age with some color fading at the edges. There are no chips or cracks. There is a rough spot on the front which is a firing flaw and can be seen in the second picture between the 3rd and 4th holes from the left side. There are some pinpoint dots from use over the years and some crazing. This piece is 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. We ship on the next business day after purchase. This nice booklet is titled“Weller Art Pottery” It was published in 1969. The author is J. F. Patterson. And. It has 61 pages. All pictures are in black and white, while the cover is a bright yellow. Excellent condition. The booklet mentions“Pats Gift Shop” in Winfield Kansas and it states that“All pieces mentioned are now on display in our shop. You would certainly be quite happy to own all of those items today! Patterns shown in this book include Dickensware. Eocean, Flemish, Knifewood, Louwelsa, Perfecto, Ivory, Roma, Forest, Zona, Ardsley, Baldwin. Etc. Some of the patterns are perhaps inaccurately named due to the very early nature of this booklet. This is one of the earliest books to document Weller Pottery patterns. Certainly a worthy addition to your collection! It is in un-used condition. 11

This is an incredible vintage arts and crafts pottery vase by Weller Pottery from its Dresden Line done and signed by Levi Burgess. The vase is beautiful and depicts a landscape with a series of 5 windmills(in varying sizes) in the background with what looks like a Danish Woman walking(it appears she is wearing wooden shoes) There may also be some ships in the distant background with billows of smoke above them. The vase stands about 9" tall and is widest at base at about 5" wide. The matte artistry glaze colors are beautiful: muted blue and turquoise and grey and faint green and white. The condition of this piece for its age is quite nice as this is one of Weller's earliest lines. There are no chips. Cracks, hairlines or repairs. Vintage Large Weller "Bouquet" Vase - ca. Late 1930s
Presented here is a very pretty 8" tall vase by Weller Pottery of Zanesville. Ohio. This vase, which is in the"Bouquet" pattern and dates from the late 1930s, is finished in a mat white glaze and is embellished with a raised design of aqua-green vines and light blue flowers with golden brown centers. The rim of this interestingly-contoured vase flares slightly, and there are two small decorative handles. The glazed bottom of the the piece is marked with an impressed"Weller" and"B5" as well as a small handwritten reddish-brown"W" The vase measures 8" tall x 6 3/4" wide(handle to handle) with the rim measuring 5 1/4" across. The body of the vase measures approximately 5 3/4" at its widest point. The condition of this vase is very good; other than a typical fine overall crackling ... moreof the glaze(inside and out) and a couple of tiny"flea bite" glaze pops, there is only one very small, shallow chip at the bottom rim(see photo) All in all, this large Weller vase is a beautiful piece of pottery which looks great and displays extremely well! This is a very rare@ 1900 art pottery tankard designed by Charles B. Upjohn. Of Weller fame. The creative details and molding are exquisite, with scenes all around including a castle, men on horseback, a forest, a nude for a handle, etc. Finished in a beautiful gloss green glaze. This impressive 17.5" tall tankard was the creation of C. B. Upjohn, who also designed the famous Dickensware sgraffito for Weller in 1896. He made this piece, either for Weller or for his own short-lived pottery@ 1904-5. This exact tankard is shown in the"Zanesville Art Pottery in Color" book, by Purviance and Schneider, listed under Zanesville potteries. Almost impossible to find undamaged. And is decorated with lots of deep brown and green glaze accents on the embossed branches and bark, with a little brown squirrel eating a nut. It's in very nice condition, please see all the pictures, it shows normal pottery imperfections such as glaze drips, and a few rough spots from manufacturing, but overall it's very nice for it's age, it came from a local estate sale and has obviously been well cared for. There is some light chipping around the hanging hole on the back as shown in picture 5. It would make a nice addition to your Weller pottery collectibles! Insurance is included in shipping costs. Antique Weller Matte Ivory Art Deco 9 1/4" Art Pottery Vase
Very attractive with no damage; has overall crazing with no discolorations; the vase is very lightly marked on the bottom.if tilted in just the right light. You can catch the Weller mark, but it's very difficult to capture with the camera lens.but, the mark is there; vase stands 9 1/4" Happy buying!

WELLER MARVO Pitcher - ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, PERFECT
This FANTASTIC piece is from my extensive personal collection of American Art Pottery. Which I am finally beginning to downsize.frankly, it's very hard for me to part with this particular piece it's so stunningly beautiful, in such incredibly excellent condition, and so rare to come by. Weller's Marvo line is distinguished for its mold design of raised dense tropical foliage covering the entirety of the piece, whether it is a vase, jardiniere or, as in this case, a pitcher. Today it remains one of the most highly sought after pattern lines ever produced by Weller Pottery. The pitcher has a unique and intriguing glaze, a very rich brown color- quite a bit darker than the more commonly seen gold color- which is set off by an even darker brown background rather than a contrasting color like most Marvo items display. Beyond that, ... morethere's not much else one would need to say to hype this piece. it truly does speak for itself! Using the scale below I would rate the condition of this pitcher at a 1.3 to 1.5, it is that close to perfect(I almost never ever describe any item at a full 1.0 MINT condition unless it is pretty-near literally coming out of the wrapping in which it was originally packaged having never been used or even displayed) After a very careful and full examination of the piece I find NO nicks or chips NO abrasions or scratches NO cracks(other than a single VERY FAINT and tight age hairline extending about 2-1/4" from the top rim visible only upon close inspection and mostly just on the inside) NO staining or discoloration NO visible evidence of repairs or restoration NO visible wear. It is appropriately marked on the underside with the"Weller Ware" inkstamp from the 1920s. It measures 7-7/8" high and 8-1/4" wide spout-to-handle. WELLER CLAYWOOD JARDINIERE-EXCEPTIONALLY RARE!
From my extensive personal collection of Weller Burntwood and Claywood. This*EXCEPTIONALLY RARE* Claywood medium-sized jardiniere is a FANTASTIC find! The Burntwood-Claywood lines(The four black vertical bands separating the sides into four distinct side panels are what distinguishes the Claywood pattern from Weller's Burntwood line) date from the very early Twentieth Century(ca.1910-1916) and are the epitome of the Arts& Crafts/Mission-style aesthetic so popular from the turn of the century into the late 1920s-early 1930s. This large(6-3/4" high and about 9-1/4" in diameter) vase borrows its form and design from Weller's Roma Atlantic pattern(which featured multi-colored glazed panels on a cream background) this same form and mold design was also used for color-glazed jardinieres and I currently have examples of those ... moreavailable in separate listings. It has the block-letter"WELLER" stamp mark on the underside, which is very unusual for Burntwood or Claywood pieces. The side panels depict highly stylized grape vines and leaves, and bunches of grapes; each panel is a slight variation. I also have a companion large Claywood vase with the same grape-leaf motif currently offered in another listing- what an amazing combo these two pieces would make together! The top of the vase features a wide band of solid black, with the vertical black bars continuing up to the rim as a relief feature withing the top band. While the outside of the bowl is an unglazed buff tan with black accents, the inside is fully glazed in a semi-gloss burnt-umber color to make it fully functional. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN and showing NO NICKS OR CHIPS; NO ABRASIONS; NO HAIRLINE OR OTHER CRACKS; NO STAINING OR DISCOLORATION; NEGLIGIBLE EVIDENCE USE OR WEAR; NO EVIDENCE OF ANY REPAIRS/RESORATION. It was difficult to produce consistently crisp Burntwood and Claywood pieces from the mold presses, particularly for late runs, and this vase does exhibit these issues, but the indistinct and inconsis

WELLER VASE "C-23" WHITE wCOLORED GRAPE LEAVES VG+ COND
This wonderful. Unique piece has for many years been a favorite in my extensive personal collection of Weller Pottery. After all these years I still cannot attribute the vase to a specific Weller pattern line, but the underside has the in-mold script marking"Weller C-23. The underside also has the letter"A" hand-written in the glaze, which would be the artist's initial. The off-white matte primary color of the body is very nicely set off by a raised pattern of grape vine and leaves glazed in a very attractive green with brown highlights. It measures 8" tall and 5" diameter at the widest part, and is in overall VERY GOOD CONDITION(maybe a 3.5 using the rating scale below) showing NO nicks or chips NO abrasions or scratches NO hairline or other cracks NO visible evidence of repairs or restoration. The outside of ... morethe vase shows very fine, very faint crazing in the glaze without any discoloration- just enough to give it a very pleasant"vintage" aura and character. The crazing is more pronounced around the inside of the slightly flared rim though still not objectionable, save for a few areas where there is the slightest and most shallow flaking of the glaze(see photos) There is no evidence at all that this would be the result of any impact damage, or of any sort of former repair/restoration, but instead looks to me as if the glaze surface may have been abraded away slightly while someone attempted- with maybe a bit too much zeal- to clean away mineral build-up just around the inner rim area. I use the following Grading Scale: 1. MINT- Like New or New; 2. EXCELLENT- Used but near-new, with only very minor wear, if any, limited to very small surface scratches or abrasions which are noticeable only with extra-critical examination; 3. VERY GOOD- Used, shows minor to moderate cosmetic wear(scratches and/or abrasions, nicks) consistent with age of item and, in the case of vintage pottery, small hairline cracks not related to impact may be present; 4.
