These are virtually new stilts. I bought them years ago when we always got a 12 foot Christmas tree. It made decorating the tree easier than moving tall ladders around. These stilts have never been used for painting or drywalling. So they are perfectly clean. In fact they have only walked on carpeted floors. The dual-pole side support design adds balance and stability. While I could not find a manufacture's name on the stilts. I believe that they are DURA-STILT. I looked up the patent number on the stilts and got the company's name. They are similar to SurPro stilts in the last photo which are priced at $279. I paid a lot due to the dual support and the inherent quality of these stilts. Too awkward and heavy to ship. Consequently local pickup only.

I have a large collection of Matthew Adams Alaska line pottery to find new homes for. I collected this during the 1990's and have thoroughly enjoyed displaying it. But am moving to a senior retirement village and obviously have to pare down my objects I've collected for over 60 years. This vase is 7" tall and 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" at the top. Not perfectly cylindrical. The design is the wooden hut on stilts, which I'm sure has another name, and a ladder for steps. There are gold painted evergreen trees behind it. The base has number 126 for the pattern I assume. I see no defects on it at all. Vintage TEXACO Oil Advertising - 1950-60's Toy STILTS w/ Texaco Star Logo Sign
Found these in a basement thrift store last week. Original Texaco advertising display toy stilts. As you can see. These are heavily worn as far as the paint is concerned.1 stilt has almost no white paint left. You will also notice surface rust on the metal pieces. Pictures also show that the plastic caps are worn through. Put those flaws to the side, and these are actually in decent condition. To me, that means wood is in good condition, no rot, just in case someone was looking to repaint or restore. Metal again just surface rust so they could be cleaned up and painted.
