I have for auction this fuel pump for a Stover stationary hit miss gas engine. It was on a 4hp engine but am not sure if it will fit other sizes or not. It is the style with the straight spoke flywheel and a curved lip on top of the water hopper.It is in good condition no visible cracks or welds. In 1955 my father bought a machine shop in chicago illinois at clyborn and halsted. The building dated about 1870. The shop still had line shafts with one electric motor running all the equipment. In the rafters my dad found these drawings dated 1895. They are stationary oil/gas engines from the Campell gas engine company in Halifax York. I have over 40 drawings for most main parts of stationary engines. pistons rods flywheel forged parts ect. They are all hand drawn some in 3 colors. I am selling this drawing first to see what interest it draws.

Here we have an old IHC M 1-1/2 hp engine. Very nice original paint and skid. I have not run the engine but it turns over and has spark. In my opinion the compression is a little weak. The fuel pump is cracked. The hand crank is missing the handle and was welded. Selling as is. For pickup in Kimball Minn. or can palletize and deliver to a shipper of your choice in St. Cloud Minn. for $25 if the buyer arranges shipping. I have had very good luck with Fastenal for shipping. Here we have an old IHC LB 1-1/2 hp engine. I have not run the engine but it turns over and has compression. Missing the valve cover, hopper cover, and fuel tank. I have for auction this gravity feed oiler for a stationary hit miss gas engine 1.5 3 5 hp or any size hp. The decal is on the inside of the oiler and it was made in Chicago Ill. It measures about 5.5" tall and the threads are about 5/8" across. It has some specs of white paint on it but it comes off without much work. This is a rare piece of American History. This engine is a Geiser class M 25hp stationary steam engine that was used to power a saw mill not far from me back in the good ol days.There are only a couple of these left in existance.This engine has orig 5' flywheel. The orig pinstripping/paint is very visable.There are no cracks breaks or welds anywhere.Its a heavy unit.Weighing around 3000 lbs.These original non-molested engines are super hard to come by these days. This rare early original J. H. Wilkinson. Boston Mass. Drip Oiler or Lubricator has a May 28th 1872 Patent Date. Was very nicely-made of ornate solid brass with an unusual 12-sided site/sight glass and measures about 2-1/4 inches wide by 4-1/4 inches tall. It came from estate of hit& miss/steam engine/Ford Model T era parts collector. Excellent used with light wear/marks/small areas of discoloration/etc. and has a nice original patina. The glass cylinder is also nice with only a few tiny"Flea-bites" Please see photos for condition details. Vintage ACME Stationary Hit Miss Gasoline Petrol Engine Rawleigh Schryer
This is a 2 1/2hp hit miss engine tagged as the Acme Engine Company from Lansing Michingan. It was actually built by Rawleigh Schryer of Freeport Illinois. It turns over and has decent compression. Mechanically it is in pretty good shape but does have some issues. The head has been welded and will need to be cleaned up. A nut has been welded to the mixer for needle valve to screw into. Part of the rocker arm mount flange has broken off- I do have the piece that broke out. Governor collar and detent roller are rather pitted from rust. Biggest issue is that all the poured in place babbitt bearings have been melted out. The mains now have babbitt inserts laying in the rough cast bearing pockets and are crudely shimmed with washers. Rod is the same way but has bronze inserts. This is poorly done and proper babbitt must be poured before the engine ... morecan really be run. I did get it to pop a few times by squirting gas in the mixer but didn't want to chance things anymore than that. I've not had this engine apart or been further into it other than quickly cleaning the ignitor. Yes this engine needs work but I don't think it will be a difficult project. Look at all the photos very carefully and feel free to ask questions. Payment is either greenbacks or certified cheque unless prior arrangements are made. Willing to exchange this engine for another unusual hit miss engine or vintage Indian motorcycle parts. Let me know what you have. Engine is located in Mocksville North Carolina. I'll bring it to any show I go to free of charge. I will help load at my place or I'd be willing to meet a buyer at a time and place TBD. Experienced with shipping and I'm Fastenal friendly. WIPAC magneto- Bletchley- England Good condition. Ready to go. Magnets have been re-magetised. Throws a hot blue spart. Has the spring loaded Impulse style drive which loads up as the input turns. Orig 1921 Moffat Virtue, Sydney Invoice for Stationary Engine & Shearing Gear
Moffat Virtue Ltd. Machinery Merchants- 205 Clarence Street, Sydney. This is an original invoice issued by Moffat Virtue from Sydney. Australia, for the supply of an Austral 4 HP Stationary Engine and a four stand sheep shearing gear with Lister Handpieces. Also included is a related letter on the Moffat Virtue letterhead, which lists down the left a large range of items that they also sold and distributed. Publisher: Moffat Virtue Limited. Sydney, NSW, Australia. Date: The invoice was issued on 29th September 1921. And the letter was sent on 10th November 1921. Both items are Single page(ie: the backs are blank) And each measures about 203 mm x 259 mm(about 8" x 10.2" Both items have had blue ink applied over the name and address of the recipient(but are still just readable with light behind you) But leaving the town of Carcoar ... morevisible. Condition: These both have 2 vertical folds and a horizontal fold from originally being sent in smaller envelopes. Both have loss the lower right corner and spike holes near the top, corners are bumped- and some edge chipping to the letterhead, the letterhead has moisture staining on the top half(more prominent on the back) some browning to the lightweight paper of both- the invoice is otherwise quite clean and presentable, the letterhead is in fair condition overall and the invoice is fair plus to reasonable condition overall. Vintage FORD Model A T Stationary HIT & MISS ENGINE Steam GASKET CUTTING TOOL ?
This unusual early original unmarked hand-operated/cranked Gasket Cutter or Gasket Cutting Tool was well-made of cast iron/steel with a wooden handle knob and measures about 3-7/8 inches wide by 5-3/4 inches long by 3-3/4 inches tall. We're UNCERTAIN as to just what this Tool is. We think it is some type of Gasket Cutter.but please research to confirm prior to bidding. It looks like it can adjust to make round gaskets up to around 3-5/8 inches O.D. It once had a Maker's decal but it has deteriorated so that unfortunately you now can't read it. This came from estate of hit& miss/steam engine/Ford Model A T/brass-era parts collector. Very Good used with minor wear/marks/etc. Nice patina to the original paint. Seems to work properly.
