I initially purchased this to renovate my nearly 100 year old kitchen cabinets(last two photos show them before and after) They are solid wood with glass panes. But were painted over the years and literally had over 20 layers of paint painted over them. I started off using chemical paint removers which burn terribly even if it's just one drop that falls on your skin and this does not include the fumes! Not only does the heat gun remove multiple layers at once, but I also used it to remove the adhesive for floor tiles that had covered this apartment's lovely hardwood floors.
