Here's a complete Hakko 470B self-contained desoldering system(internal pump) I replaced the heater. Tip, tip sleeve, tip sleeve nut, solder collection pipe complete and all filters and a new sponge. The pump runs strong as it did when new. I did not open the case so as far as I know that's all original. This is the best one on Ebay so with about $100 in new parts it is priced right. HAKKO 473-1 DESOLDERING BASE STATION
I bought this used Hakko 473-1 in error. I did not realise that an external source of compressed air was necessary to make the suction work. I tested the unit with a Hakko 807( not included) it warmed up and reached working temperature perfectly and when I pressed the button a valve or relay is actuated inside the base station( it can be heard quite clearly) Without the external compressed air supply it was not possible to test this unit fully.
